The system comprises a controller to control a light emitter from an array of light emitters to emit a signal at a setting, the setting being indicative of a position associated with the light emitter. The controller further to receive a signal from the sensor indicative of the setting. The controller also to determine the relative position between a moveable part and the working surface based on the signal.

Abstract: An example apparatus is for printing to a substrate. The example apparatus comprises a printing fluid device and an air flow device. The printing fluid device is for transferring printing fluid to a substrate. The air flow device is to create an air curtain so that any printing fluid residue from the transfer of the printing fluid to the substrate is at least partially prevented from migrating toward a user of the apparatus.

Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus to generate heated air to sublimate a sublimating printing substance. The apparatus comprises: a self-regulating heating element; an air retaining device to retain air in the apparatus for heating by the self regulating heating element; and an airflow generating device arranged selectively to urge heated air to leave the retaining device. Also disclosed is a method to sublimate a sublimating printing substance deposited on a printing medium and a system to produce printing content on a printing substrate using a sublimating printing substance.

The holder comprises an outer surface to contact an inner side of the garment opposite to an outer side of the garment in which a print agent is to be deposited and an opening on the outer surface in fluid communication with the heated air flow.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of sublimation printing, a heating system for sublimation printing and a printing device. The method of sublimation printing comprises generating an air flow through a print medium on which a printing substance is deposited and heating the air flow to a temperature at or above a sublimation temperature of the printing substance.
