Abstract: This application provides a communication method, apparatus, and system, and may be applied to the field of communication technologies, so that a plurality of positioning system information blocks can be transmitted to a terminal device through an air interface by using system information. The method includes: obtaining a plurality of positioning system information blocks, where each positioning system information block includes a plurality of segments; and periodically broadcasting the plurality of positioning system information blocks by using system information, where a periodicity of the plurality of positioning system information blocks includes a plurality of periodicities of the system information, and one segment of each of one or more positioning system information blocks in the plurality of positioning system information blocks is sent in one periodicity of the system information.
