    Abstract: The current invent relates to the construction and application of a three-line breeding system in the bay scallop×Peruvian scallop hybrids. The said three-line consists of a male sterile line, a maintainer line and a restorer line. A combination of male sterile line and maintainer line is obtained by continuously backcrossing the male sterile individuals selected from F1 inter-specific hybrid families with sperm of the selfing family of the sperm-providing Peruvian scallops until the progenies are all male sterile. The restorer line is obtained by continuously backcrossing selected individuals from the male sterile line with sperm of the selfing family of a Peruvian scallop until the progenies are all hermaphroditic and exhibit excellent production traits. Commercial male sterile brood stocks are produced by backcrossing the male sterile line with the maintainer line and commercial hybrid spats are produced by backcrossing the male sterile line and the restorer line.

    Abstract: A heat pump heat exchanger includes a first manifold, a second manifold spaced from the first manifold, a plurality of refrigerant tubes hydraulically connecting the manifolds, and a distribution tube disposed in the first manifold. The distribution tube includes an inlet end, a distal end opposite the inlet end, a plurality of orifices between the inlet end and the distal end. The distribution tube also includes a terminal aperture immediately adjacent the distal end, wherein the terminal aperture includes an open aperture area greater than any one of the open orifice area. The open aperture area is large enough to provide a uniform refrigerant collection with acceptable minimal pressure drop in evaporative mode, but small enough to prevent vapor overflow to an area of the manifold adjacent to the distal end in condenser mode. The length of the distribution tube is less than ¾ the length of the first manifold.

    Abstract: A method for preparing functional edible oil rich in phytosterol esters and diglycerides includes steps of: 1) adding a raw material: adding phytosterol, triglyceride and a molecular sieve into a reactor, wherein a ratio of the phytosterol and the triglyceride is 1:2-1:4, a molecular sieve amount is 50 g/L; heating to 50-60° C. and stirring for 30-60 min, for obtaining a pre-mixture; 2) providing non-aqueous enzymatic transesterification: adding 5-20 g/L lipase into the pre-mixture, adding 100-200 ppm antioxidant, stirring and reacting for 8-12 h with a temperature of 50-60° C. and an atmospheric pressure, stopping heating and naturally cooling to a room temperature; and 3) post-treating: after reaction, removing the lipase and the molecular sieve by centrifugation, for obtaining the functional edible oil. The functional edible oil rich in two nutritional active components is obtained by the one-step method. Products of the present invention do not need separation and purification, and operation is simple.

    Abstract: A downhole formation fluid viscometer sensor and method therefor include a viscometer sensing package, a flexible diaphragm, a magnet and electric coil, and a signal pickup assembly. The viscometer sensor may also include a first cavity and a second cavity for mechanical and electric energy transfer. The magnet and electric coil may be driven by external alternating current to generate an electromagnetic force. Silicon oil may be used to fill the first cavity and/or a pressure balance hole may connect the first cavity to an external area. The diaphragm may be a titanium alloy and a ferromagnetic magnet may be attached to the diaphragm. The diaphragm preferably has a thickness from about 0.030 to about 0.040 inches and the magnet and electric coil can propel the diaphragm to vibrate at a frequency from 0 to 100 kHz. Formation fluid viscosity is determined using resonant frequency linewidth, with contributions from the sensor package intrinsic properties removed.
