  • Publication number: 20240130325
Abstract: A pet litter scoop assembly and a litter sieve are related, the pet litter scoop assembly including the litter sieve for collecting used litter. The litter sieve includes a base part and a handle extending from the base part, the base part including a bottom wall and a sidewall extending upwardly from the bottom wall, with a sieving cavity formed by the sidewall and the bottom wall, the handle connected to the sidewall. The litter sieve includes holes penetrating the bottom wall and sized such that the used litter cannot pass through the holes, and at least one guiding rib(s) protruding from the bottom wall to the sieving cavity and positioned adjacent to the holes to guide unused litter pellets in the sieving cavity to pass through the holes. The litter sieve and litter scoop assembly can help to avoid blocking of the holes.

  • Patent number: 11650889
Abstract: A method for reliable data synchronization within a network is disclosed. The producer system stories data in a persistent data store and produces one or more data updates. The producer system simultaneously transmits the data updates to a consumer system and initiating storage of the data updates at the producer system. When storage of the data updates at the producer system is complete, the producer system transmits a first acknowledgment to the consumer system. The producer system determines whether a second acknowledgment has been received from the consumer system, wherein the second acknowledgment indicates that the consumer system has successfully stored the data updates at the consumer system. In accordance with a determination that the second acknowledgment has been received from the consumer system, the producer system changes the temporary status of the data updates stored at the producer system to a permanent status.

  • Patent number: 10929035
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product (computer-readable storage medium) embodiments for implementing memory management via dynamic tiering pools. An embodiment operates by initializing a first memory pool of a first tier, and invoking first and second function calls to allocate memory to the first memory pool. Responsive to these function calls, an OS may allocate differently-sized memory elements for attachment to the first memory pool, from a memory free store managed by the OS. A second memory pool, of a second tier, may be further initialized, and a third function call may be invoked, to allocate memory to the second memory pool. Here, in response to the third function call, the first memory pool may reallocate the second memory element from the first memory pool for attachment to the second memory pool.

  • Patent number: 10114848
Abstract: Disclosed in some examples is a method, the method including detecting that an RDMS is recovering from a failure; sending a request for a last committed transaction on a replication component to the replication component; receiving, from the replication component, the last committed transaction which identifies a transaction that was the last committed transaction at a replication component at a time of RDMS failure; determining that a transaction log on the RDMS includes a transaction that had not yet been replicated at the time of RDMS failure which was committed on the transaction log subsequent to the last committed transaction received from the replication component; and based on that determination rolling back the transaction that had not yet been replicated at the time of RDMS failure.
