  • Publication number: 20220376540
Abstract: A terminal, a power supply method for the terminal, and a charging and discharging management circuit. The terminal includes a load circuit, a battery, and a charging and discharging management circuit. The battery is configured to supply a voltage to the load circuit. The charging and discharging management circuit is coupled to the load circuit and the battery. The charging and discharging management circuit is configured to receive an input voltage, and charge the battery after stepping down the input voltage. When the battery voltage is greater than a threshold voltage, the battery supplies a voltage to the load circuit. When the battery voltage decreases to the threshold voltage, the charging and discharging management circuit steps up the battery voltage, and outputs a stepped-up voltage to the load circuit.

  • Patent number: 11247011
Abstract: Disclosed herein are aspects of a tracheal breathing tube that provides for accurate and reliable control of cannula cuff pressure. Such a tracheal breathing tube include a pressure controller through which a fluid is supplied to a cannula cuff of a tracheal breathing tube and which enables reliable indication of a level of pressure of fluid within the cannula cuff. The pressure controller serves to achieve a proper interface between the cannula cuff and a patient's trachea, thereby addressing important clinical considerations such as anesthesiologist control. Moreover, the pressure controller serves to ensure that proper force is being applied on the patient's tracheal walls by the cannula cuff to thereby limit the potential for post-surgical complications resulting from, for example, inadequate blood supply to an organ or part of the body. swelling of the patient's tracheal walls that can lead to difficulty in breathing, and the like.

  • Publication number: 20190380844
Abstract: A probe device is adapted for use in enabling implanted articles of spine surgery to be accurately and safely positioned relative to anatomy that can be injured during placement of such implanted article. The probe device can be used with a neuromonitoring system to assist in location of the spinal nerves by administration of low-voltage electrical stimulation during bone preparation and/or placement (e.g., insertion) of an implanted article (e.g., a bone screw) during an open or percutaneous minimally-invasive surgical approach of the spine. By monitoring the low-voltage electrical stimulation and/or a signal generated in response the low-voltage electrical stimulation being the administered, proximity to a patient's anatomy that is susceptible to being injured by the bone preparation and/or placement of the implanted article can be determined and placement of the implanted article can be performed in a manner that minimizes the potential for injury to such anatomy.

  • Publication number: 20180177457
Abstract: An endotracheal tube electrode assembly comprises an elongated electrode body, a plurality of electrodes and a layer of insulating material. The elongated electrode body has a semi-circular cross-sectional shape defining an endotracheal tube-receiving channel that extends along a length of the elongated electrode body. The plurality of electrodes is provided on a surface of the elongated electrode body outside of the endotracheal tube-receiving channel. The electrodes extend along a length of the elongated electrode body. Each of the electrodes is formed from a conductive material applied directly onto the elongated electrode body. The layer of insulating material formed on the elongated electrode body covering a portion of each one of the electrodes, thereby providing an uncovered portion of the at least one pair of electrodes to serve as a patient contacting thereof.
