The device includes a main body, a housing, a carriage, a first elastic member, a stopper member, a second elastic member, and a button. The housing includes a first sidewall, a second sidewall opposite to the first sidewall, and a third sidewall formed between the first sidewall and the second sidewall, an opening is defined in the second sidewall. The stopper member is slidably received in the housing and connected to the third sidewall. The carriage is slidably received in the housing and connected to the first sidewall. The ridge protrudes from the carriage and is capable of blocking a free end of the stopper member to retain the carriage in a retracted position. The button is slidably connected to the housing and includes a distal end, which engages with the stopper member.

Abstract: A fixing apparatus for fixing a battery in an electronic device is provided. The fixing apparatus includes a cover slidably disposed in an opening of the housing; a connecting portion connected to the cover via a first hinge; a transmission bar connected to the connecting portion via a second hinge; and a rotary portion rotatablely, defined in the housing, contacting with the transmission bar and the battery. When the cover closes the opening, the connecting portion is driven by the cover to arch and push the battery, and an electrode of the battery connects to the electrode connector. When the cover opens the opening, the connecting portion is driven by the cover to push the transmission bar, the rotary portion is pushed by the transmission bar to rotate, and the rotary portion pushes the battery to eject from the compartment via the opening.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a main body, a circuit board, a receiving space defined in one side of the main body, a plurality of USB ports and a driving module. The receiving space includes a plurality of sets of fixed contacts on a bottom thereof, and the fixed contacts are electrically connected to the circuit board in the main body. The plurality of USB ports are slidably received in the receiving space, and each USB port comprises a set of external contacts. The driving module is configured to push one of the USB ports to a first position, wherein the USB port is able to slide from the first position to a second position where the set of external contacts of the USB port engages one of the plurality of sets of fixed contacts, which electrically connects the one of the USB ports with the circuit board.

The heat generating element is electronically connected on the printed circuit board. The heat conducting sheet is positioned on the heat generating element. The heat-transfer unit includes a heat-transfer member and a drive unit. The heat-transfer member connects to the heat conducting sheet. The drive unit moves the heat-transfer member to connect with the primary heat dissipation unit or the subsidiary heat dissipation unit.

Abstract: A remote control capable of indicating which electronic device controlled by the remote control is in use is provided. A remote control includes a microprocessor, a touch panel with a plurality of contact areas, and a state indication unit. Each of the contact areas is labeled with one color and each of the contact areas is configured to control one electronic device; the state indication unit is configured to indicate which of the electronic devices is in the on state; the microprocessor controls whether to turn on one electronic device based on the contact operation on each of the contact areas, and directs the state indication unit to display the color of the determined contact areas in relation to the electronic devices.

Abstract: An electronic device includes an input unit, a processing unit and a coding/decoding system. The coding/decoding system includes a reflector array, a knob group, an infrared emission unit, an infrared receiving unit and a coding/decoding unit. The reflector array includes at least one mirror mounted rotatably in the electronic device. The knob group is configured for adjusting angles of the reflector array. The infrared receiving unit is configured for receiving infrared rays reflected by the reflector array and generating a password signal according to the received infrared rays. The coding/decoding unit is configured for receiving the password signal and converting the password signal into a password. The coding/decoding unit stores the password and locks the electronic device according to the password. To unlock the electronic device, the coding/decoding unit compares the password with a pre-stored password to determine whether to unlock the electronic device.

A color scan module scans and analyzes the search condition to acquire a color code. A color-encoding module converts the color code of the search condition into a numeric code according to the color code list. An image search module searches the image file whose numeric code matches the numeric code of the search condition, and outputs a result. A searching control module displays the matched image file on the display unit according to the result.
