    Abstract: A single phase line switch having a phase line input connected to a phase line of the electric network and a phase line output connected to a negative line of the electric network via resistive loads or capacitive loads. The single phase line includes a first power supply unit connected between the phase line input and the phase line output, a second power supply unit, a controlled switch configured to control the second power unit to be on or off, and a micro control unit (MCU) configured to control the controlled switch to be switched on or off. The first power supply unit is configured to provide a power supply to the MCU when the controlled switch is off. The second power unit is configured to provide a power supply to the MCU and the controlled switch when the controlled switch is on, the second power supply unit being serially connected with the controlled switch, the second power supply and the controlled switch being parallel connected with the first power supply unit.

The method for providing short-circuit protection for the resistive AC load comprises the following steps of: turning on the active controlled switch within a first conduction angle range; obtaining the mean current value of the load through a current detection circuit; and determining whether the mean current value of the load is greater than a default value or not, wherein, if so, the active controlled switch is controlled to be turned off, and if not, the active controlled switch is controlled to be turned on. The user's intent-strength score is determined using intent-strength scores assigned to seed patterns identified for entities in a category, as well as the received user query. In embodiments, a user's intent-strength score may be updated based on a subsequent query, or may be changed according to a function. A list of users having particular intent-strength scores for particular entities may be also be generated.

At least one sub-word of a writing line of a handwritten document is identified and is processed to determine the associated writing style that includes a cursive writing style and a hand-printed writing style. The writing line is consequently associated with a script type. The script type of a writing line is determined from the script types of the sub-words in the writing line. When the number of sub-words having a first script type is greater than the number of sub-words having a second script type, the script type of the writing line is categorized as the first script type. In addition, a script analyzer determines a writing style of at least one sub-word and selects one of a plurality of neural networks to categorize the script type of a writing line.

A searcher may perform a grid-searching algorithm or a genetic algorithm to generate groups of parameters and may then pass the parameters to available evaluators for evaluation until evaluation-function values for a group of parameters satisfy a convergence condition.

    Abstract: A capacitive touch screen includes an indium tin oxide layer and a transparent protection layer on top of the indium tin oxide layer, wherein buttons and lines are etched on the indium tin oxide layer, and each of the buttons is connected to an electronic control circuit through at least one of the lines. A method for manufacturing a capacitive touch screen comprises: (A1) providing a first indium tin oxide layer; (A2) etching buttons and lines on the first indium tin oxide layer through photolithography process. The buttons and lines are etched directly on the indium tin oxide layer, and the touch screen is integrated with the LCD, which does not increase any thickness and transmits the information in the line by the simplest way. The capacitive touch screen of the invention has high efficiency, exact orientation, convenient installation, low cost, good appearance, etc.
