The single phase line includes a first power supply unit connected between the phase line input and the phase line output, a second power supply unit, a controlled switch configured to control the second power unit to be on or off, and a micro control unit (MCU) configured to control the controlled switch to be switched on or off. The first power supply unit is configured to provide a power supply to the MCU when the controlled switch is off. The second power unit is configured to provide a power supply to the MCU and the controlled switch when the controlled switch is on, the second power supply unit being serially connected with the controlled switch, the second power supply and the controlled switch being parallel connected with the first power supply unit.

An advertisement system selects advertisements to display to a user based on the serving area of candidate advertisements. The advertisement system selects those candidate advertisements whose serving area encompasses the user's current location. The advertisement system may also select candidate advertisements to present to a user based on a map area currently being displayed to the user. The advertisement system may filter the candidate advertisements based on the provider location being within the map area that is currently being displayed to the user.

Abstract: Methods and computer-storage media having computer-executable instructions embodied thereon that facilitate classifying user intent with respect to an entity using intent-strength scores. A user query indicating a particular entity is received. The user's intent with respect to the particular entity is determined by assigning an intent-strength score to the user. The user's intent-strength score is determined using intent-strength scores assigned to seed patterns identified for entities in a category, as well as the received user query. In embodiments, a user's intent-strength score may be updated based on a subsequent query, or may be changed according to a function. A list of users having particular intent-strength scores for particular entities may be also be generated.

At least one sub-word of a writing line of a handwritten document is identified and is processed to determine the associated writing style that includes a cursive writing style and a hand-printed writing style. The writing line is consequently associated with a script type. The script type of a writing line is determined from the script types of the sub-words in the writing line. When the number of sub-words having a first script type is greater than the number of sub-words having a second script type, the script type of the writing line is categorized as the first script type. In addition, a script analyzer determines a writing style of at least one sub-word and selects one of a plurality of neural networks to categorize the script type of a writing line.

Abstract: A method and system for providing location-based advertisements to requesting devices is provided. An advertisement system aggregates advertisements by collecting advertisements from multiple advertisement sources, extracting data from the collected advertisements, and storing the extracted data in a common format. After aggregating the advertisements, the advertisement system transforms each advertisement into multiple advertisement formats that are specific to protocols supported by the various device types. When the advertisement system receives queries for advertisements, it identifies matching advertisements and ranks them based on a location. The advertisement system then selects an advertisement format that is appropriate for the requesting device.

Abstract: Ink-parser-parameter optimization may be performed via parallel processing to accelerate searching for a set of optimal ink-parser parameters. Evaluators may parse pages of ink notes with different groups of parameters and may compute corresponding values for evaluation functions. Separate evaluation functions may be defined for the following types of ink-parker parsing engines: writing parser, writing/drawing classification, table detection, and list detection. A searcher may perform a grid-searching algorithm or a genetic algorithm to generate groups of parameters and may then pass the parameters to available evaluators for evaluation until evaluation-function values for a group of parameters satisfy a convergence condition.

Abstract: A mechanism for recognizing and inputting handwritten mathematical expressions into a computer by providing a multi-path framework is described. The framework may include symbol grouping and recognition, tabular structure analysis, subordinate sub-expression analysis, subscript/superscript analysis and character determination, and semantic structure analysis components. A method for recognizing a handwritten mathematical expression includes receiving a plurality of input strokes corresponding to a handwritten mathematical expression and providing a candidate list of recognized candidate expressions based upon the input strokes. Input strokes are grouped into symbols, tabular structures are determined, dominant symbol candidates and subordinate symbols are determined, and subscript and superscript structures are determined.

Abstract: A mechanism for recognizing and inputting handwritten mathematical expressions into a computer by providing part of a multi-path framework is described. The part of the multi-path framework includes a subscript/superscript analysis and character determination component that is designed to identify subscript and superscript elements. A method for analyzing a handwritten mathematical expression includes receiving a symbols corresponding to handwritten mathematical expression input strokes, identifying subscript and/or superscript structures, and determining a character for each symbol of the set. A graph of vertexes and edges may be created based upon the set of symbols and the graph may be searched to determine optimized candidates.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for processing electronic ink receive an electronic ink input; convert the electronic ink input to a first machine-generated object using handwriting recognition; display the first machine-generated object on a display; receive speech input; convert the speech input to a second machine-generated object using speech recognition; generate a list of machine-generated objects based on the electronic ink input, the list including the first machine-generated object and alternative machine-generated objects and functioning as a dictionary for converting the speech input; and replace the first machine-generated object with the second machine-generated object. A user may confirm that the second machine-generated object should replace the first machine-generated object.

Abstract: A capacitive touch screen includes an indium tin oxide layer and a transparent protection layer on top of the indium tin oxide layer, wherein buttons and lines are etched on the indium tin oxide layer, and each of the buttons is connected to an electronic control circuit through at least one of the lines. A method for manufacturing a capacitive touch screen comprises: (A1) providing a first indium tin oxide layer; (A2) etching buttons and lines on the first indium tin oxide layer through photolithography process. The buttons and lines are etched directly on the indium tin oxide layer, and the touch screen is integrated with the LCD, which does not increase any thickness and transmits the information in the line by the simplest way. The capacitive touch screen of the invention has high efficiency, exact orientation, convenient installation, low cost, good appearance, etc.
