The wiper blade comprises a wiping strip and a connection structure, the connection structure comprising: an adapter fixed to the wiping strip, the adapter comprising a first side part and a second side part which are opposite each other, with a first surface and a second surface being disposed on the first side part and the second side part respectively; a connector, the interior of the connector having an opening, a foolproofing part facing the second surface, and a hole in communication with the opening; when the connector is fitted to the adapter in an opposite direction, the first surface obstructs the foolproofing part and the shaft cannot be hinged into the hole via the opening. The foolproofing part can prevent a wiper arm from being fitted to the wiper blade incorrectly.

A regenerable nanofiber is disclosed comprising a NaHCO3 nanofiber, a KHCO3 nanofiber, or an amino acid nanofiber made from subjecting a CO2 gas to an amino acid aqueous solvent. Preferably, the amino acid aqueous solvent is one or more of a Gly-NaOH—H2O, an Ala-NaOH—H2O, a Phe-NaOH—H2O, a Gly-KOH—H2O, an Ala-KOH—H2O, and a Phe-KOH—H2O.

A read-type client request is processed by (1) determining whether the metadata cache stores current attribute values, (2) if so, then satisfying the client request using the current values in the metadata cache, and (3) otherwise obtaining current attribute values from the source data storage system and satisfying the client request using the obtained current attribute values, and storing the current values in the metadata cache to be available for use in processing subsequent read-type client requests. A write-type client request is processed forwarding modified attribute values from the client request to the source data storage system for storage therein.

The target DSS assesses a migration state of a user file of the user I/O operation, including (1) determining whether a metadata file storing migration state data for the user file has an already recovered record indicating the migration state of the file, (2) if so, then using the already recovered record to assess the migration state of the user file, and (3) otherwise (a) initiating an on-demand recovery to obtain an on-demand record for the user file, and (b) using the on-demand recovered record to assess the migration state. If the migration state indicates that the file has not yet been migrated, then the user I/O operation is redirected to a separate source DSS, and otherwise the user I/O operation is completed locally at the target DSS.

A plurality of carbon nanotubes are grown from the catalytic metal layer. These carbon nanotubes can be grown from a sidewall of the catalytic metal layer. The plurality of carbon nanotubes are then exposed to an organic solvent. This step of exposing the carbon nanotubes to the organic solvent may be preceded by a step of applying centrifugal forces to the plurality of carbon nanotubes. Alternatively, the exposing step may include applying a centrifugal force to the plurality of carbon nanotubes while simultaneously exposing the plurality of carbon nanotubes to an organic solvent.
