Each contact includes a retaining section, a contacting section extending from the retaining section into the receiving slot, and a leg extending downwardly from the retaining section out of the housing. Each contact is further equipped with an auxiliary spring beam with an additional contacting section extending into the receiving slot. The contacts are initially linked to a single contact carrier strip so as to be simultaneously inserted into the corresponding passageways, respectively.
