    Abstract: A power amplifier includes a first driver stage, a second driver stage, and a biasing component including a first emitter follower circuit and a second emitter follower circuit. The biasing component is configured to receive a first source current from a first current source, and provide a first bias voltage to the first driver stage using the first emitter follower circuit and a second bias voltage to the second driver stage using the second emitter follower circuit. The first bias voltage and the second bias voltage are based upon the first current source.

    Abstract: A radio frequency (RF) power amplifier is provided. In one aspect, the RF power amplifier includes a driver stage amplifier circuit, first and second power amplifier output stage circuits that each include a first and second array of bipolar junction transistors (BJTs), respectively, an inter-stage impedance matching network connecting the driver stage circuit’s output to a respective first input of the first and second output stage circuits, and first and second bias circuits connecting the driver stage amplifier circuit’s output to a respective second input of the first and second power amplifier output stage circuits. The first bias circuit and the first output stage circuit can set a quiescent point of each BJT in the first array to a first value, while the second bias circuit and the second output stage circuit are configured to set a quiescent point of each BJT in the second array to a second value.

    Abstract: A pre-distortion coefficient corresponding to a transmit power currently set by a transmitting end is adjusted. A signal received quality report which is obtained according to the pre-distortion coefficient before adjustment is analyzed and fed back by a receiving end and a signal received quality report that is obtained according to the pre-distortion coefficient after adjustment and fed back by the receiving end. The analysis determines a variation situation of signal received quality of the receiving end. If the signal received quality of the receiving end becomes better, the pre-distortion coefficient after adjustment is used as the pre-distortion coefficient corresponding to the transmit power currently set by the transmitting end. The process then returns to the step of adjusting a pre-distortion coefficient corresponding to a transmit power currently set by a transmitting end.
