Abstract: A networking system based on a plurality of embedded data acquisition workstations each having a core board and an acquisition board in communication with other. The core board uses an embedded LINUX® operating system. The networking system also includes a computer, and it adopts a tree topology structure with at least three layers. A root node of the networking system is the computer, and all other nodes apart from the root node are the embedded data acquisition workstations. At least one of the embedded data acquisition workstations serves simultaneously as a master station and a slave station to achieve network bridging function, such that communication between the embedded data acquisition workstations is no longer limited by the number of communication interfaces of the computer, acquisition channels are expanded, and the limitations caused by different communication protocols is resolved so that more application requirements can be met.
