Publication number: 20240104681Abstract: A method performed by at least one processing device in an illustrative embodiment comprises applying a first image and a message to an encoder of a steganographic encoder-decoder neural network, generating in the encoder, based at least in part on the first image and the message, a perturbed image containing the message, decoding the perturbed image in a decoder of the steganographic encoder-decoder neural network, and providing information characterizing the decoded perturbed image to the encoder. The generating, decoding and providing are iteratively repeated, with different perturbations being determined in the encoder as a function of respective different instances of the provided information, until the decoded perturbed image meets one or more specified criteria relative to the message. The perturbed image corresponding to the decoded perturbed image that meets the one or more specified criteria relative to the message is output as a steganographic image containing the message.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 16, 2022Publication date: March 28, 2024Inventors: Varsha Kishore, Kilian Weinberger, Xiangyu Chen, Boyi Li, Yan Wang, Ruihan Wu

Publication number: 20240089214Abstract: This application describes examples of a data processing method and apparatus. In one example, the method includes: If a target buffer that is corresponding to a target priority and that is on a network device reaches a first threshold, the network device sends a pause message to an upstream device, so that the upstream device stops sending a first data packet corresponding to the target priority. If a duration in which the network device stops buffering a second data packet is greater than a preset duration, and the target buffer falls back below a second threshold, the network device sends a sending resumption message to the upstream device, so that the upstream device sends a third data packet corresponding to the target priority.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 20, 2023Publication date: March 14, 2024Inventors: Tao WU, Lei HAN, Hewen ZHENG, Jian YAN, Xiangyu GONG, Xinyi SONG

Publication number: 20230231377Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for protecting DC line impedance phase based on protection and control coordination, and an application scenario of the method for protecting is a three-terminal flexible DC transmission network. The method uses high controllability of a converter after a fault, injects a characteristic signal at a characteristic frequency, and calculates a phase angle of input impedance to determine a fault interval, which effectively improves protection performance, turns passive to active, and is not affected by nonlinearity of the converter. At the same time, compared with a full-bridge MMC, using a half-bridge MMC does not need to perform fault ride-through first when identifying a fault, and does not need to add additional equipment, it creates fault features and can reliably identify an fault interval; improves protection quickness and at the same time also has better economic benefits.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 1, 2022Publication date: July 20, 2023Applicant: Beijing Jiaotong UniversityInventors: Meng LI, Jinghan HE, Keao CHEN, Dahai ZHANG, Pinghao NI, Yin XU, Xiaojun WANG, Guomin LUO, Xiangyu WU, Fang ZHANG

Publication number: 20220121628Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for synthesizing traces from logs of a distributed computing system. A trace represents a single transaction, such as handling of a user request, on the distributed computing system. The transaction can include multiple underlying operations on the distributed computing system, which are represented as spans within the trace and may be hierarchically arranged within the trace. In instances where a distributed computing system does not provide for tracing natively, a trace can be synthesized from log entries of the distributed computing system. A streaming data processing system can ingest a data stream including log entries, and identify within the data stream those log entries relating to a given transaction. The streaming data processing system can further identify log entries that demark the beginnings and endings of operations for that transaction, and can utilize the identified log entries to build a trace for the transaction.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 19, 2020Publication date: April 21, 2022Inventors: Poornima Devaraj, Joseph Gabriel Echeverria, Venkata SreeKrishna Koganti, Shyam Mundhra, Hardik Shah, Xiangyu Wu, Ryan Konrad Yee
