  • Publication number: 20230265077
Abstract: Provided are a photoactive compound having a chemical structure of formula (I), a photoactive protein-immobilizing gel and use. The photoactive protein-immobilizing gel, in which the photoactive compound is contained or immobilized, can crosslink with a protein under the action of UV light, thereby achieving separation and/or immobilization of the protein.

  • Publication number: 20230102204
Abstract: A microfluidic chip comprises: a first unit which has a channel for a cell sample to pass through and is configured to separate circulating tumor cells in the cell sample; a second unit, a front end of which communicates with a tail end of the first unit, and the second unit is configured to capture single cells from the separated circulating tumor cells and subject the captured single cells to closed lysis; and a gel layer which is provided at the second unit. The microfluidic chip is configured to implement the binding of a protein molecule of the single cell with an antibody in the gel layer after the single cell is lysed. A cell separation and western blotting method using the microfluidic chip comprises: lysing circulating tumor cells, capturing, and implementing the binding of a lysate with an antibody.

  • Publication number: 20210358636
Abstract: Multiple tests of a complex system are conducted by applying varying combinations of input parameters from a pool of input parameters. Results of the tests are fitted into a model of the complex system by using multi-dimensional fitting. Using the model of the complex system, identification is made of at least one optimized combination of input parameters to yield a desired response of the complex system.

  • Publication number: 20140309974
Abstract: A method of combinatorial optimization includes: (1) defining an objective function to optimize a combination of N input parameters of a complex system, wherein the objective function includes a weighted sum of n different optimization criteria, N?2, and n?2; (2) applying an initial combination of the N input parameters to the complex system to yield an initial output response; (3) executing an optimization procedure to generate an updated combination of the N input parameters, wherein executing the optimization procedure includes calculating an initial value of the objective function based on at least one of (a) the initial combination of the N input parameters and (b) the initial output response; and (4) applying the updated combination of the N input parameters to the complex system to yield an updated output response.
