  • Patent number: 10999204
Abstract: Traffic profiling in real time within a video streaming session is described. Multiple data packet flows at a lower layer of the OSI model are observed. A data packet flow pattern is obtained for each observed flow, and each obtained pattern is compared to a pre-defined characteristic streaming pattern. From the observed flows, any data packet flow that has its data packet flow pattern close to the pre-defined characteristic streaming pattern is selected as a video streaming flow. A buffer state of the video streaming flow is identified amongst a filling state, a steady state, and a depletion state, by observing a slope of accumulated data over time. Eventually, multimedia-related information of the selected video streaming flow is provided based on its data packet flow pattern.

  • Publication number: 20200015141
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a beam avoidance method and a base station, and relate to the communications field. The method comprises: determining, by a first base station, that first UE transmitting a service on a currently scheduled RB is benefited UE, where a cell in which the first UE is located is a first cell; determining, by the first base station, whether a user is satisfied with a service that is of second UE and that is transmitted on the currently scheduled RB, where a cell in which the second UE is located is a second cell, and the second cell is a cell adjacent to the first cell; and adjusting, by the first base station, a transmit weight of the second UE if the user is satisfied with the service that is of the second UE and that is transmitted on the currently scheduled RB.

  • Publication number: 20190223256
Abstract: A data transmission method, a network device, and a terminal device are disclosed. The network device determines activation instruction information, where the activation instruction information is used to instruct to enable or disable a transmission control protocol (TCP) quick acknowledgement function. The network device sends the activation instruction information, and if the activation instruction information instructs to enable the TCP quick acknowledgement function, maintains a mapping relationship between a TCP sequence number and a radio link control layer protocol data unit (RLC PDU) sequence number. The terminal device receives the activation instruction information, and enables or disables the TCP quick acknowledgement function according to the activation instruction information, thereby optimizing a data transmission method using a TCP quick acknowledgement scheme.

  • Publication number: 20180376355
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a service optimization processing method, a device, and a system. Sensor information of UE is reported to a network device, the network device predicts a status of the UE based on the sensor information of the UE, and optimizes a service of the UE based on the status, or the network device performs service adjustment based on the sensor information of the UE. In this way, power consumption of the UE can be effectively reduced, and user experience is improved. In addition, network signaling and resource usage can be optimized, and channel resource utilization is improved.

  • Patent number: 8837284
Abstract: The disclosure discloses a method for scheduling a Guaranteed Bit Rate (GBR) service based on Quality of Service (QoS) and an apparatus implementing the method, wherein the method comprises the steps of: determining a scheduling priority of an online user according to an average rate of a GBR service of the user in a current Transmission Time Interval (TTI); and scheduling the user in accordance with the determined priority and allocating Resource Block (RB) resources to the user. With the scheduling method of the disclosure, the RB resource can be fully utilized, and the user rate which does not reach the GBR is quickly improved to make as many users as possible to reach the GBR, so as to increase the number of satisfied users in system. For the case in which a Maximum Bit Rate (MBR) is greater than the GBR, on the basis that as many users as possible are made to reach the GBR, the rates of the users can be further improved to increase the number of users with high rates.
