    Abstract: An apparatus for processing, storing and displaying digital images includes a processing unit (10), a display controller (30), a display unit (40) and a control panel (50). The processing unit modifies an original image from an original image file (210) according to modifying instructions received from the control panel, saves modifying parameters relating to the modification in an image modification file (220) that corresponds to the original image file. After the modification, if the original image is selected at a later time, the processing unit automatically modifies the original image according to the modifying parameters, thereby producing a modified image to be displayed on the display unit. A relating method for processing, storing and displaying digital image is also provided.

A method of making a coated implant includes depositing a first layer on a metallic substrate, wherein the first layer comprises a material selected from the group consisting of nitride compounds, boride compounds, carbide compounds, and mixtures of two or more of the foregoing materials; forming at least one slurry comprising an apatite and a binder, wherein the apatite has greater than about 90% crystallinity, and wherein the binder is inert in body fluids; depositing the slurry on the first layer to form a green coating; and sintering the green coating to form a second layer.

In response to determining to establish a Point-to-Multipoint (PTM) communication channel to multiple user equipment (UEs), the communication service assigns the PTM communication channel to the MBMS service, determines a power requirement associated with each user equipment (UE) of the multiple UEs based on a handover quality measurement associated with the UE to produce multiple power requirements, and allocates a power level to the PTM communication channel based on the multiple power requirements. The communication system further dynamically adjusts the allocated power based on a handover quality measurement associated with a UE of the multiple UEs that is received during provision of the MBMS service.

    Abstract: The invention refers to a method for breeding of a variety of Pacific abalone with orange shell. A new strain with uniform shell color of Pacific abalone is established by single mating or mass mating. The detailed procedures are as follows. The mature individuals with orange shell color are selected as breeders, and conditioned in the seawater. Macroalgae are fed and gentle aeration is provided daily. The gonad of breeders will eventually reach full ripeness; Artificial induction to spawn is conducted by combined desiccation, thermal shock and exposure to UV-irradiated seawater; The released gametes were fertilized by single mating or mass mating; A routine procedure is used for fertilized eggs incubation, larval and spat rearing. A new Pacific abalone strain of uniformly orange shell color is produced. In the invention, the new strain is produced by shell color mutant type abalone from natural populations or artificially cultivated stocks. No foreign genes are introduced.
