  • Publication number: 20190306812
Abstract: A resynchronization signal (RSS) may extend across multiple physical resource blocks (PRBs) or subframes, which may cause the RRS to be scheduled to overlap with other downlink transmissions. Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for management of RSS and one or more other transmission types that may have overlapping wireless resources with the RSS. If one or more other downlink transmissions are scheduled for resources that overlap with resources scheduled for an RSS transmission, the UE may receive the RSS transmission or the one or more other downlink transmissions, or a combination thereof, based on a prioritization of the transmission types of the one or more other downlink transmissions relative to RSS. The RSS transmission or the one or more other transmissions may be delayed, dropped, punctured, or rate-matched when the RSS transmission and the one or more other downlink transmissions conflict.

  • Publication number: 20190305971
Abstract: Physically unclonable function (PUF) memory employing static random access memory (SRAM) bit cells enhanced by stress for increased PUF output reproducibility. Stress voltage applied to SRAM bit cells enhances their skew so that the SRAM bit cells output their preferred initial state in subsequent PUF read operations regardless of process variation and other external environmental variations, such as temperature. The application of stress voltage on the SRAM bit cells in a PUF memory array takes advantage of the recognition of aging effect in transistors, where turning transistors on and off over time can increase threshold voltage resulting in lower drive current. Stress voltage can be applied to the SRAM bit cells to bias their threshold voltage to simulate this aging effect to enhance mismatch between transistors in the SRAM bit cell to more fully skew the SRAM bit cells for increased PUF output reproducibility with less susceptible to noise.

  • Publication number: 20190303716
Abstract: Points around a point of interest are sampled. The points and the point of interest each have a value for each of a number of input features. The points and the point of interest each have a corresponding output score for a machine learning model. A feature contribution vector for the input features is determined by locally approximating the machine learning model at the points and the point of interest using a model, such as a ridge regression model. The ridge regression model can have a loss function, which can include a Kullback-Leibler (KL) divergence term. The feature contribution vector approximates for any point a contribution of each input feature to the output score of this point by the machine learning model. The input features most responsible for the machine learning model having provided the corresponding output score for the point of interest, based on the feature contribution vector, are provided.
