  • Patent number: 12368622
Abstract: This disclosure relates to methods, devices, and systems for wireless communications, and more particularly uplink reference signal repetition for non-terrestrial networks. A user terminal in a non-terrestrial network may identify an uplink reference signal format that includes a comb-based pattern of subcarriers within a first orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol and within a second OFDM symbol for transmission of an uplink reference signal. The user terminal may map the uplink reference signal to a first set of subcarriers within the first OFDM symbol and to a second set of subcarriers within the second OFDM symbol in accordance with the comb-based pattern. Thereby, the user terminal may transmit, to a base station in the non-terrestrial network, the uplink reference signal on the mapped subcarriers of the OFDM symbols, which may be transmitted coherently.

  • Patent number: 12344669
Abstract: An anti-CD47 monoclonal antibody and use thereof. The provided anti-CD47 monoclonal antibody can effectively inhibit tumor growth. Blocking human SIRP and human CD47 signals may enhance macrophage phagocytosis of tumor cells, prevent the tumor cells from escaping a tumor immune defense system, and have an anti-tumor function. Blocking association between the CD47 on a tumor cell surface and the SIRP on a macrophage surface may block a “do not eat me” signal from the tumor cells, promoting tumor cell recognition and uptake of macrophages, and thereby facilitating tumor cells to be phagocytosed. The association between the CD47 on a tumor cell surface and the SIRP on a macrophage surface is a common “do not eat me” signal. The anti-CD47 antibody, as a very promising target in the tumor immune system, will play a powerful and effective role in human cancer therapy.

  • Patent number: 12335044
Abstract: In a communication between a user equipment (UE) and a network node, the UE may receive a grant of uplink (UL) shared channel (SCH) resources from the network node. Each of the UL SCH resources may be associated with one of a plurality of hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) processes. Each HARQ process may be at least one of a plurality of HARQ process types, and each HARQ process type may be based on HARQ feedback status and HARQ retransmission status. The UE may transmit a control message on one or more UL SCH resources in response to the one or more UL SCH resources being determined to be usable based on the HARQ process type of the HARQ processes associated with the one or more of the UL SCH resources.

  • Patent number: 12335021
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a message from a first non-terrestrial network cell indicating cell synchronization information for a second non-terrestrial network cell. In some examples, the cell synchronization information may indicate whether the first non-terrestrial network cell and the second non-terrestrial network cell are synchronized at a reference point. Additionally, or alternatively, the cell synchronization information may indicate a timing offset value between a first uplink time synchronization reference point of the first non-terrestrial network cell and a second uplink time synchronization reference point of the second non-terrestrial network cell. The UE may calculate a timing associated with signaling from the second non-terrestrial network cell based at least in part on the cell synchronization information.

  • Publication number: 20250193846
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A system may support a delayed response to a paging message to improve paging throughput. A user equipment (UE) may receive, at a first layer of the UE and from a second layer of the UE, a first signal indicating a delay associated with a paging response for the UE. The UE may operate in a first state based on the first signal. The first state may be associated with a pending paging response and a reset of one or more operation parameters of the UE to support the delay associated with the paging response. The UE may transition, after the delay based on satisfaction of one or more paging response conditions, from the first state to a second state associated with initiation of the paging response. The UE may respond to a paging request after transitioning to the second state.

  • Patent number: 12323938
Abstract: A scheduling offset between an uplink and downlink radio frame timing structure of a user equipment (UE) may be updated to provide for more efficient utilization of hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) processes in a non-terrestrial network. For instance, different UEs may experience different round trip delays (RTDs) with a non-terrestrial cell. Different UEs may be configured with different scheduling offsets such that scheduling delays may be reduced and HARQ processes identifiers may be reused more rapidly. Additionally or alternatively, wireless communications systems may define one or more separation distances (or timing thresholds) for timing between communications and HARQ processes may be reused based on the separation distance threshold (e.g., such that a satellite may reuse a HARQ process ID for two scheduled communications that have not yet been performed by the UE).

  • Patent number: 12302264
Abstract: Non-terrestrial networks (NTNs) may establish uplink (UL) and downlink (DL) radio frame timing structures to efficiently account for propagation delay and propagation delay variation associated with communications in the NTN. NTNs may manage (synchronize) radio frame timing structures of base stations (e.g., satellites) and user equipment (UEs) in the NTN. Further, UEs may determine timing advance (TA) values to be applied to UL transmissions based on their respective scheduling offset (e.g., offset in UL and DL radio frame timing structures), as well as based on propagation delay or round trip time (RTT). As such, served UEs may determine UL timing such that UL transmissions from the UEs to a satellite arrives at the satellite in a time synchronized manner. In other cases, a satellite may determine UL timing, based on reception timing, such that various UEs in the NTN may implement uniform UL and DL radio frame timing structures.

  • Patent number: 12294442
Abstract: A method for wireless communication includes validating a PUR configuration in a NTN based on location-related information associated with a satellite. For example, a UE may determine, based on location-related information of a satellite in a non-terrestrial network, whether a preconfigured uplink resource (PUR) configuration is valid. The UE may also transmit, to a base station (BS) via the satellite in response to determining that the PUR configuration is valid, a communication signal in a PUR. For example, the UE may determine, based on the location-related information associated with the satellite, if the parameter satisfies the threshold, and transmit UL data in a PUR occasion based on the determined parameter satisfying the threshold.
