Abstract: A method, computer system, and a computer program product for syllable-based pronunciation help are provided. An input text in a first language may be received. A selection of a target language that is different from the first language may be received. From the target language, syllables with a pronunciation most closely matching a pronunciation of the input text in the first language are obtained. The obtaining is based on a comparison of one or more spectrograms for the input text with one or more spectrograms for text of the target language. The obtained syllables in the target language are presented.

Abstract: An Internet phone communication method includes selecting a destination media access control address from a phone book, transmitting the destination media access control address to an address server having at least one valid media access control address stored therein, checking whether the destination media access control address matches the valid media access control address, communicating with a receiver having the destination media access control address or the valid media access control address via a wireless network system other than a cellular network system when the destination media access control address matches the valid media access control address. An Internet phone communication system is also disclosed herein.

Abstract: A mobile communication device has a storage module for storing at least a first format and a conversion rule associated with the first format, a receiving module for receiving a first ring tone data, a processor electrically connected to the storage module and the receiving module for determining whether the first ring tone data comply with the first format, and a conversion module electrically connected to the processor and the storage module for converting the first ring tone data complying with the first format into a second ring tone data complying with a second format according to the conversion rule. When the first ring tone data comply with the first format, the conversion module is activated to generate the second ring tone data so that the mobile communication device can play a ring tone according to the second ring tone data.
