    Abstract: An online system adjusts a guardrail setting used by a user treatment engine based on conditions faced by the online system. The online system simulates the performance of the user treatment engine using different candidate guardrail settings and computes a score for each of the guardrail settings based on the performance of the user treatment engine using each of the guardrail settings. The online system selects a new guardrail setting for the user treatment engine based on the performance scores for the candidate guardrail settings. Furthermore, the online system generates simulated training examples to initially train a user treatment engine. The online system uses a treatment performance model to simulate the effect of treatments applied to users and generates simulated training examples based on the predicted effect of the treatments. The online system retrains the user treatment engine on real training examples that are generated based on actual treatments.

    Abstract: The invention relates to automotive electronic and electrical technology, and in particular, to a multi-functional on-vehicle power converter for electric vehicle as well as an electric vehicle comprising the multi-functional on-vehicle power converter. In the invention, by introducing two independent switches, a rectifying circuit, a filtering circuit, an output EMC circuit and a corresponding control unit (e.g., a CAN communication circuit and a signal collecting circuit, etc.) can be shared among a conductive charging converter, an on-vehicle part of a wireless charging converter and a DC-DC converter, and a convenient and swift switch can be realized among the three operational modes. When in use, at least two kinds of materials are mixed and formulated in one and the same container body in a rapid and automatic way, by means of relative movement of the screw-threads by which the container body, the double-walled external cap and the internal vessel are coupled with each other, and engagement of the ratchet and the pawls, without the structure of the container body being damaged, so that initial fresh active components in the materials sealed therein are preserved, and rapid formulation is achieved.

    Abstract: This invention provides a method and apparatus for issuing or renewing a host address. The apparatus has an input device to receive a data packet having a host identifier, a memory to store a list of host identifiers, and a processor to match the host identifier with the list of host identifiers. If a match is found, an output device transmits the data packet to an address allocation device to issue or renew the host address. The method provides for retrieving the host identifier in the header of the data packet, matching the host identifier with a list of host identifiers, and maintaining a state of authentication for the host if a match is found, otherwise maintaining a state of unauthentication for the host. The method further provides for inserting a proxy address in a relay agent address field, setting a flag, and transmitting the data packet to an address allocation device to issue or renew the host address.

For a given voltage, the first threshold is smaller than the second threshold.

    Abstract: In a switching mode power supply, an input received from the secondary side of the transformer 7 and indicative of the power being drawn by the loads is used to control the timing of bursts. The input is compared with two threshold different threshold values V2, V3, and switching is enabled if the input rises above a first higher threshold value V2, and disabled if it falls below a second lower threshold value V3. A memory device FF1 controls a current limitation circuit which limits currents in the primary of the transformer when the switching mode power supply is operating in the burst mode.
