Abstract: A smart controlling method applied to a smart home system for controlling a number of home appliances of the smart home system is able to learn the habits of the user in relation to the home appliances, deeming a control operation a habit when a certain controlling command is repeated for more than a predetermined number of times in a predetermined period. When the current certain condition value matches one of the habit certain conditions, the smart home system calls the corresponding habit controlling command to control the relative home appliance to execute the habitual operation. A smart gateway and a smart home system are also provided.

Abstract: A remote controlling method applied to a smart home system for controlling a number of home appliances of the smart home system is provided. A remote controller sends a controlling command to a smart gateway. A smart gateway extracts an operation command and sends a controlling signal including the operation command to the home appliance. The home appliances receive the controlling signal and execute the corresponding operation. A smart gateway and a smart home system are also provided.

Abstract: A smart switch applied to a smart control system in a smart house, includes a storage, a voice input unit configured to receive vocal commands and convert the vocal commands to electronic data, and a remote control unit. A processor unit which includes a voice identifying module, a determining module, and a control module is also included. The smart switch recognizes a voice command and sends a remote control command to the target electronic devices, thereby controlling the electronic devices to execute an operation. A smart control system is also provided.

Abstract: A remote doorbell control system includes a smart doorbell device, a smart gateway, and a control device having a preset communication number. The smart doorbell device communicates with the control device via the smart gateway. The smart doorbell device includes a doorbell signal generating unit and a control circuit. The doorbell signal generating unit generates a doorbell signal when a visitor has arrived. The control circuit receives the doorbell signal and sends the doorbell signal to the control device, when the smart doorbell device is set to a remote answer mode. The control circuit further activates corresponding functions in response to control signals from the control device.

Abstract: A smart home network system includes a number of traditional home devices having wireless communication function, a smart gateway, and a plurality of signal conversion devices. When the smart gateway wants to control a traditional home device, the smart gateway sends a cable control signal to a related signal conversion device in the area where the target traditional home device is placed. The related signal conversion device receives the cable control signals from the smart gateway, and converts the cabled control signal into a wireless control signal conforming to the wireless communication function type of the target tradition home device, then transmits the wireless control signal to the target traditional home device. Therefore, the traditional home devices with wireless communication function can be connected into the system, and be controlled by the smart gateway.

Abstract: A smart power strip applied to a smart home system includes at least one socket connected to an electronic device, a plug configured to connect the smart power strip to the power supply, a storage, a wireless receiver, a Power Line Communication or Optical Fiber Power Line Communication modem unit, and a processor unit. The processor unit receives and stores wireless signals sent by a registration controller and generates a registration code, the Power Line Communication (PLC) or Optical Fiber Power Line Communication (OPLC) modem unit sends the registration code to the gateway via the power line, the registration code comprises a unique identification code of the smart power strip and a unique identification code of the registration controller. A smart home system is also provided.

Abstract: An apparatus for processing handwriting input includes a touch display unit, a touch display control unit, a storage unit, a calculating unit, and a processing unit. The touch display control unit determines a character in response to a character operation by an input device, and a height and a width of an imaginary rectangle sized to fittingly encircle the character. The calculating unit enlarges the height of the imaginary rectangle by adding a given value to the height of the imaginary rectangle if the height of the imaginary rectangle is smaller than a predetermined value. The processing unit resizes the character displayed within the enlarged imaginary rectangle by a first scaling factor. The touch display control unit controls the touch display unit to display the resized character in one of rows of a character display portion provided by the touch display unit. A related method is also described.

Abstract: A smart switch applied to a smart home system is connected to a power supply and at least one electronic device. The smart switch includes a screen, a power detecting unit configured to detect real-time electrical information of the electronic device, a processor unit including a calculating module configured to calculate total electricity consumption of the electronic device and a control module configured to control the screen to display instantaneous electrical information and the total electricity consumption, and a communication unit configured to connect the smart switch to a gateway of the smart home system in wired or wireless manner, and send the electrical information and the total electricity consumption to the gateway. Abstract: A smart home network system includes a number of home devices, a smart gateway, and a control device. The smart gateway stores a mapping list that records configuration information of each home device, and the configuration information contains a UID code of each home device. When received a control signal for controlling a target home device from the control device, the smart gateway analyzes the control signal and modulates the control signal with the UID of the target home device and converts network protocols, to generate an effective control command, then transmits the control command to the target home device. When received status information from the home devices, and the smart gateway sends the status information to the control device for reading status information of the home devices. Therefore, user can operate the control device anywhere to remote control each individual home device via the smart gateway.

Abstract: A smart switch applied to a smart home system is connected to a power supply and at least one electronic device. The smart switch includes a storage, a power detecting unit configured to detect real-time power consumption of the electronic device connected to the smart switch and a processor unit. A table including identification code of the electronic device, a pre-determined power value relating to each electronic device and the relationship therebetween is stored in the storage. The processor unit includes a determining module configured to determine whether the real-time power of an electronic device is lower than a corresponding pre-determined power value, and a control module configured to cut off the power supply of the electronic device when the determining module determines that the real-time power of the electronic device is lower than the pre-determined power value. A smart home system is also provided.

Abstract: A bus stop board for advertising includes a communicating unit, a storage unit, an input unit, a control unit, a display unit, and a short message service control unit. The control unit obtains available advertisements stored in the storage unit in response to a passenger's first signal into the input unit, and receives a selection of advertisements made by a passenger in response to a second signal. The display unit displays the selected advertisements and a user interface for the passenger's telephone number. The short message service control unit generates a data package for each selected advertisement and transmits the data package to a user terminal with the input telephone number. Abstract: A bus stop sign capable of providing detailed bus schedules includes a storage unit, a detecting unit, a communicating unit, and a control unit. The storage unit pre-stores a table recording identifications of a plurality of mobile terminals, identifications of a plurality of bus terminals, and stop information of the bus stop sign along bus routes of the bus terminals. If the identifications of the mobile terminals obtained by the detecting unit match one or more identifications recorded in the table, the control unit obtains identifications of bus terminals recorded in the table corresponding to the obtained identifications, and controls the communicating unit to transmit the obtained identifications to the server. The server determines the current location of the nearest bus terminal travelling toward the bus stop sign and feeds back the current location of the nearest bus terminal to the mobile terminal. Abstract: A remote control system includes a remote control device in the hands of a user, a number of home devices and a smart adapter. The home devices and the smart adapter are connected to a power source via power lines. The remote control device sends remote control information to the smart adapter directly or via a server. The smart adapter includes a modulation module, which is configured to modulate the remote control information with a UID of the target home device and convert network protocols, then generate an effective control signal. The smart adapter transmits the control signal to the target home device via the power lines.

Abstract: A smart home network system includes a number of home devices, a smart gateway, and at least one register controller. The register controller generates and sends a registration request to the smart gateway. After receive the registration request, the smart gateway assigns a register region and a region code in a mapping list stored in the smart gateway. The register controller further generates and sends a registration code to the home devices in the area where the register controller is placed, in order to control the home devices to register their configuration information in the mapping list stored in the smart gateway. Therefore, the smart gateway is able to control each individual home device.

Abstract: A smart switch applied to a remote control system in a smart home is connected to a power and at least one electronic device. The smart switch includes a storage, and a communication unit receiving commands from a remote source which include the unique identification code of a target electronic device. A smart gateway, a remote unit, and a processor unit including a converting module and a control module are also included. Abstract: A street lamp includes a lighting unit, an input unit configured to receive bill information, a communication unit configured to communicate with a server, a display unit, a cash receiving unit configured to receive payment and a controlling unit. The controlling unit controls the communication unit to send the bill information received by the input unit to the server. The communication unit receives a payment amount sent back by the server. The controlling unit controls the display unit to display the payment amount and controls the communication unit to send a finish signal to the server after the cash receiving unit receives full payment. The street lamp has payment function that enable user to pay various bills without any manual intervention of the branch officer.

The server determines which one or ones travel toward the bus stop according to the current locations of the bus terminals and the location of the bus stop. The server determines current locations of the buses on a route which includes the bus stop, compares the real-time locations with the location of the bus stop to select a nearest bus travelling towards the bus stop. Abstract: A streetlight includes a storage unit pre-storing a location of the streetlight, a communicating unit communicating with a server, an input unit mounted facing toward an outside of the streetlight, a display unit, and a control unit. The input unit generates a first request signal in response to a user operation thereon. The control unit obtains the location of the streetlight stored in the storage unit in response to the first request signal, generates a second request signal carrying the obtained location, and controls the communicating unit to transmit the second request signal to the server. The server schedules one or more taxis which are currently vacant and whose current locations are near the obtained location. The display unit displays the one or more current locations and one or more identifications of the one or more taxi scheduled. A related server and system are also provided.

Abstract: A server includes a communicating unit, a storage unit, and a control unit. The communicating unit communicates with a plurality of clients and a plurality of streetlights, receives advertisements from the plurality of clients, and information of a user's personal consumption preference sent by and from each of the streetlights. The storage unit stores the advertisements provided by the plurality of clients. The control unit obtains the advertisements from the storage unit according to the information of the user's personal consumption preference transmitted by and from a streetlight, and controls the communicating unit to transmit the obtained advertisements to the streetlight.
