One example display assembly includes a display panel and a function module located on a light-emitting surface of the display panel. A function unit in the function module includes at least one phototransistor and one switch transistor. The phototransistor includes a first active layer, a first gate, a first source, and a first drain. A material for making the first active layer includes an organic semiconductor material. The first active layer is located on a side of the first gate away from the display panel. The first drain and the first gate partially overlap to form a first capacitor. The switch transistor includes a second active layer, a second gate, a second source, and a second drain. The function unit includes a transparent electrode located on the first active layer and overlapping the first active layer.

    Abstract: During enrollment to a biometric identification system an image of at least a portion of a user is acquired and processed to determine a compact representation (CR). The CR may be stored for later comparison to identify the user, to train embedding models, and so forth. The image is not stored. A machine learning system that comprises a variational autoencoder is trained to produce the CR with a loss function that includes a distortion loss, an embedding distance loss, and in some implementations a bitrate loss. The trained encoder is used to determine the CR from an input image, while the decoder is not stored. The CR contains sufficient information to be used as training data for embedding models, instead of acquired images. Training may be more computationally efficient using the CR. Recognition comparisons may be more efficiently performed using the CR, compared to query images.

After writing the zones to a quantity of virtual blocks, a maintenance operation may be performed to reorder the zones within the quantity of virtual blocks according to access frequencies of the zones. Additionally, performing the maintenance operation may include performing garbage collection for the zones, such that invalid zones may be erased and valid zones may be reconsolidated within the quantity of virtual blocks.
