Abstract: A housing (100) of a portable electronic device includes an opaque base (10) and a transparent cover (20). The base defines an aperture (101). The cover is fixed on the base by means of laser soldering and covers the aperture. A method for fabricating the housing is also described.

Abstract: A charging circuit of a portable device includes a switch circuit having an input connected to a storage battery of the portable device for triggering the storage battery to supply power to an electronic device, a reference voltage circuit, a regulating circuit, a filter circuit filtering voltage signals from the storage battery, a collecting circuit, a comparator circuit, a rectangular generator, an integral circuit, and a driving circuit. The reference voltage circuit and the collecting circuit respectively output a reference voltage signal and a collecting voltage signal to the comparator circuit. The rectangular wave generator outputs a rectangular wave to the integral circuit. The integral circuit outputs a triangle wave signal to the driving circuit. The driving circuit outputs a pulse width modulation (PWM) signal to drive the regulating circuit to charge the electronic device.

The operating member defines a threaded hole therein. The supporting member extends through the D-shaped through hole of the bottom wall of the projector and is partially received in the projector. The supporting member forms a plurality of threads thereon for mating with the threaded hole of the operating member. When the operating member is rotated in either of two directions, the projector correspondingly moves up or down relative to the supporting member.
