  • Patent number: 11179439
Abstract: Provided herein are methods and compositions for preventing and treating damage to the heart subsequent to myocardial infarction (MI) resulting from harmful fibrotic remodeling, thereby improving cardiac function and reducing mortality from subsequent heart failure.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 18, 2019
Date of Patent: November 23, 2021
Assignees: MandalMed, Inc., The Regents of the University of California

  • Publication number: 20210292783
Abstract: The disclosure relates to genetic engineering, and more particularly to a CHO cell line, its construction and a recombinant protein expression system using the CHO cell line. Regardless of the presence screening pressure, the recombinant protein expression system constructed by the 60th passage of the recombinant APRT gene-deficient CHO cell line is much higher than the normal recombinant CHO cell in the expression retention of the target protein EGFP. In the absence of G418 screening pressure, the expression level of the recombinant vitronectin in the recombinant protein expression system constructed by the 30th passage of the recombinant APRT gene-deficient CHO cell is significantly higher than the expression level of the corresponding target protein in the normal recombinant CHO cells.

  • Patent number: 9077117
Abstract: A lead frame assembly includes two lead frames detachably coupled to each other. Each lead frame has an insulating frame, several signal terminals fixed on the insulating frame, and a ground terminal fixed on the insulating frame. One of the ground terminals has a shielding sheet and several groups of elastic arms, and the shielding sheet and the elastic arms are protruding from the corresponding insulating frame; another ground terminal has several shielding portions protruding from the corresponding insulating frame. The ground terminals are contact with each other along a shielding direction, and the groups of elastic arms are respectively abutted against the shielding portions. In a space, which is surroundingly defined by the contour of the shielding sheet extending along the shielding direction, the shielding direction passes through at least one of the shielding sheet, the elastic arms, and the shielding portions.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 19, 2013
Date of Patent: July 7, 2015
Assignee: TOPCONN ELECTRONIC (KUNSHAN) CO., LTD.

  • Patent number: 5054496
Abstract: The peak potential values of each cardioelectric wave components detected from the body surface are uniquely presented as a few iso-potential and isochronous contour maps by the electrocardiac peak mapping (EPM) method and apparatus described. The change in the size and the contour of the relevant EPM maps provides a simple, non-invasive, yet sensitive means for clinical diagnosis of at least the following heart diseases:1) the locations and sizes of myocardial infarction (hereafter, MI),2) primary and second cardiomyopathies,3) locations and sizes of "non-Q-wave MI", which can not be diagnosed by conventional electrocardiography, and4) various intracardiac conduction blocks and Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome,5) various repolarization abnormalities and their quantitative analysis. The EPM apparatus comprises an elastic Waistcoat with embodied special electrodes, signal preprocessors, a multiplexer, a main differential amplifier, and a general purpose computer with appropriate software.
