Abstract: A method to simulate a circuit includes receiving at least one circuit requirement and at least one Modular Multilevel Converter (MMC) parameter; determining an operating mode and switching states of an arm circuit; determining each capacitor current based on the switching states and an arm current; determining capacitor voltage and arm voltage; and generating an equivalent circuit model to simulate MMC-based HVDC systems and DC grids in a hybrid AC and DC power system.

Abstract: Disclosed are polymeric compositions comprising polyhydroxyalkanoates. These compositions can comprise a blend comprising a polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) polymer, and a rubber polymer. The blend can comprise a biphasic mixture comprising a first phase comprising the PHA polymer, and a second phase comprising the rubber polymer dispersed with the first phase. The rubber polymer can be crosslinked, for example, through reaction with a free radical initiator. By incorporating the dynamically crosslinked rubber polymer, the polymer composition can exhibit one or more improved characteristics relative to PHA alone, including improved thermal stability, improved melt strength, improved flexibility, improved toughness, or a combination thereof. Also provided are articles formed at least in part from these polymeric compositions, as well as methods of making these polymeric compositions.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed to control a power inverter by extracting photovoltaic (PV) maximum power under a plurality of operating conditions as one or more reference variables; predicting the future behaviors of a PV output voltage as one or more controlled variables based on a current operational condition; generating one or more control signals for the H5 inverter that minimizes an error between the reference variable and the controlled variables; and controlling the power inverter with the one or more control signals.

Abstract: System and methods are disclosed to forecast electrical loads in an energy grid with a processor to receive load information from the energy grid; and a two-stage probabilistic load forecasting unit with integrated point forecast as a probabilistic load forecasting (PLF), including: a first stage where predetermined features are utilized to train a point forecast model and obtain the feature importance; and a second stage where the forecasting model is trained, taking into consideration point forecast features.

The method includes the steps of: receiving the packet service data transmitted by a user equipment; determining the packet service data to be uninstalled in the packet service data according to the service uninstall strategy of the user equipment; and transmitting the packet service data to be uninstalled to the packet data network via a metropolitan-area network and an internet protocol (IP) backbone network. By applying this method, the problem in the prior art is overcome, thereby saving the operation and maintenance cost of the packet network.
