    Abstract: Examples described herein provide for determining a recipe for identifying from which buckets integrated circuit chips are taken to form units of a multi-chip apparatus. In an example, a method uses a processor-based system and uses a Markov Decision Process. Buckets are defined based on respective characteristics of manufactured chips. Each of the manufactured chips is binned into a respective one of the buckets based on the characteristic of the respective manufactured chip. A recipe for identifying from which of the buckets to take one or more of the manufactured chips to incorporate into respective ones of the units of the multi-chip apparatus is generated.

    Abstract: A computer-implemented method is provided for computer intrusion detection. The method includes establishing a mapping from low-level system calls to user functions in computer programs. The user functions run in a user space of an operating system. The method further includes identifying, using a search algorithm inputting the mapping and a system-call trace captured at runtime, any of the user functions that trigger the low-level system calls in the system-call trace. The method further includes performing, by a processor device, intrusion detection responsive to a provenance graph with program contexts. The provenance graph has nodes formed from the user functions that trigger the low-level system calls in the system-call trace. Edges in the provenance graph have edge labels describing high-level system operations for low-level system call to high-level system operation correlation-based intrusion detection.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a heat radiator and a turbo fracturing unit comprising the same. The heat radiator includes: a cabin; a heat radiation core disposed at the inlet and configured to allow a gas to pass therethrough; a gas guide device disposed at the outlet and configured to suction the air within the cabin to the outlet; and noise reduction core disposed within the cabin, which is of a structure progressively converging to the outlet. The heat radiator is configured to enable the gas to enter the cabin via the inlet, then sequentially pass through the heat radiation core, a surface of the noise reduction core and the gas guide device, and finally be discharged out of the cabin. The heat radiator according to the present disclosure is a suction-type heat radiator which can regulate the speed of the gas guide device based on the temperature of the gas at the inlet, thereby avoiding energy waste and unnecessary noise.

Compared with the logic circuit structure of the conventional CMOS transistors, the present disclosure can implement more logic operations with fewer transistors, which greatly optimizes circuit density and computing speed caused by data transmission between storage units and process units.

    Abstract: A spark plug heat up method via transient control of the spark discharge current. The high temperature plasma channel is used to heat up the central electrode, and the temperature and energy of the plasma channel are realized via transient control of the discharge current. The heating up process takes place before firing the engine, using discharge current to actively heat up the spark plug from inside. By monitoring the discharge current amplitude and discharge duration, the temperature change of the central electrode and the ceramic insulator can be carefully measured and controlled within a proper window. This method can be used to measure the heating range of the spark plug, and to prevent or remove the carbon deposit on the central electrode and the ceramic insulator generated under various engine operation conditions, such as engine cold start, full load operation, and heavy EGR condition, as well as realize self-cleaning.

The fiber is then drawn through a slurry, wherein the slurry includes elements including at least one of metallic elements, alloy elements or dielectric elements, and the slurry wets an outer surface of the fiber. As the fiber is drawn through the slurry, it is then drawn through a forming die to impart a wet coating having a desired thickness on an outer surface of the fiber. The wet fiber is then drawn through an oven or ovens configured to heat the wet coating sufficiently to produce a consolidated surface coating on the fiber as the fiber exits the oven or ovens.

    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses an image flicker detection method that includes the steps outlined below. An image retrieving is performed to retrieve a current image. A current variation ratio between first rows of pixels of the current image and second rows of pixels in a previous image is calculated. When both the current variation ratio and a previous variation ratio are determined to be larger than a ratio threshold, a detected flicker number is incremented. When the detected flicker number is determined to be larger than a flicker number threshold, a flicker condition is determined to occur. When the detected flicker number is determined to be not larger than the flicker number threshold, the current image becomes the previous image and the current variation ratio becomes the previous variation ratio such that a next image becomes the current image to repeat the above steps.

    Abstract: Non-idealities of input circuitry of a receiver signal chain can significantly degrade the overall performance of the receiver signal chain. A digital nonlinearity correction (NLC) can be implemented in a receiver signal chain having an ADC. Digital NLC can be designed as a drop in signal preconditioner for existing RF ADC wideband receiver signal chains. A unique equalizer can compensate for a variety of mixer spurs. Accordingly, digital NLC can correct nonlinearities due to mixers and any amplifiers preceding or following the ADC, potentially improving receive chains performance by 15-25 dB. Such a digital NLC solution can be particularly beneficial in defense and instrumentation applications which demand the greatest performance.
