Abstract: A method where a data analytics network element may determine a background traffic transmission data analysis result of a first terminal device based on target background traffic transfer policies of another terminal device (that is, a second terminal device), and where the data analytics network element may further enable a first policy control network element to determine a background traffic transfer policy of the first terminal device. Therefore, the background traffic transfer policy of the first terminal device is determined by the first policy control network element with reference to the other terminal devices.

Abstract: This application discloses a network handover method and a network device, to resolve a problem that a terminal device cannot perform an IMS voice service. The method includes: receiving, by a first access network device, first session management information from a session management network element, where the first session management information is for requesting to set up a user plane tunnel for a voice service of a terminal device; and sending, by the first access network device, a handover request to a first mobility management network element based on the first session management information and a first condition, where the handover request is for handing over the terminal device from a first network to a second network, and the first condition includes that the voice service cannot be performed in the first network. Abstract: Embodiments relate to the field of communications technologies, and provide a service communication method and a device, to resolve a problem that a service cannot be normally executed because a radio resource is forcibly allocated to UE after a service establishment request is received. In this method, a service establishment request sent by a service application server can be received by an access network device. A notification message to the service application server can be sent by the access network device. The notification message can carry information reflecting an actual network status of a cell in which UE is located, and the actual network status of the cell in which the UE is located is used by the service application server to determine updated radio channel quality requirement information. This method can be performed in a process of establishing a service and performing service communication.

Abstract: A method for determining quality of service (QoS) description information includes receiving at least one piece of QoS description information of a service. Each piece of the at least one piece of QoS description information includes parameter type information and a parameter requirement. The method also includes sending to a second core network element or an application function network element corresponding to the service, parameter type information and a parameter requirement in the at least one piece of QoS description information. The method further includes receiving from the second core network element or the application function network element, feedback information of the parameter type information and the parameter requirement. In one example method, a request message for setting up a Voice over Long Term Evolution (VoLTE) service for a user equipment (UE) in a packet switched (PS) domain is received by an Internet Protocol multimedia subsystem (IMS) core network device. The IMS core network device triggers a circuit switched fallback (CSFB) service of the UE after determining that the VoLTE service cannot be set up in the PS domain.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a data processing method and apparatus. The method includes: parsing, by a user plane data processing network element, a received packet and determining first service type information of a data flow to which the packet belongs; obtaining, by the user plane data processing network element, second service type information of the data flow from a data analysis network element; and processing, by the user plane data processing network element, the data flow based on the first service type information and the second service type information. With the data processing method and apparatus disclosed herein, accuracy in identifying a service type of transmitted data can be improved.

The method includes determining, by a first network-side device, a status of a data service switch of UE, and sending, by the first network-side device, a first notification message to a second network-side device when the data service switch of the UE is turned off, where the UE is already registered with a network, the first notification message includes first instruction information and an identity of the UE, and the first instruction information instructs the second network-side device to skip charging for data packets of the UE flowing through the second network-side device.

The method includes: determining, by a PGW, a status of a data service switch of UE; if the status of the data service switch is that the data service switch is turned off, after the PGW receives a first data packet that comes from or goes to the UE, determining, by the PGW, whether the first data packet belongs to a specified type; and forwarding, by the PGW, the first data packet if the first data packet belongs to the specified type; or discarding, by the PGW, the first data packet if the first data packet does not belong to the specified type.
