    Abstract: A head module capable of reciprocal rotation for an electric cleaning apparatus comprises cleaning elements, a housing and a driven rod disposed in a hollow inner cavity of the housing, wherein the rod is provided with a hollow cavity body for accommodating a drive shaft; at least one gap is provided in a region surrounding the hollow cavity body; at least one inner side notch is distributed on a side wall of the inner cavity, for accommodating a protrusion; the rod further comprises a partially cylindrical or conical cavity body region. When the drive shaft is not yet inserted into the rod, there is a gap between the notch and the protrusion in a direction perpendicular to the rotation axis (L1) of the drive shaft. The length of the gap is greater than or equal to the amount of single-side interference between the rod and the drive shaft.

The center line(s) of the holes and a rotation axis (L1) of a driving shaft are located at a same line, and the driving shaft penetrates through the central through hole. The fitted region of the driving shaft and the driving wheel enters the through holes distributed on the driving wheel to link the driving shaft and the driving wheel fixedly. A driven part matching a driving part is distributed on a protrusion of the brush disc on which a hollow region is formed. The driving shaft penetrates through or enters the hollow region and limits the brush disc to move. The brush disc is incapable of performing reciprocating rotation when the driving shaft is not installed or is damaged.

In the head structure, the driven bristle retainers are driven by the driving bristle retainers from the frame in a constrained mode and move around a respective motion axis. The driving bristle retainers have protrusions. The driven bristle retainers have bevel surfaces which correspondingly cooperate with the protrusions. At least one driven point on at least one of bevel surfaces is closer to the driving bristle retainers than a contact point or a contact line or a contact surface of the at least bevel surface and the corresponding protrusions. Thereby the driven bristle retainers are driven by the driving bristle retainers in the moving process.
