  • Publication number: 20230308413
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure include techniques for discovering services across networks based on a multicast domain name system (mDNS) protocol. An mDNS request for available services in a network is received from a client device. The client device belongs to a particular layer 2 (L2) domain. In response to receiving the mDNS request, a storage of the network device configured to store service records is queried to determine a set of available services. The set of available services is provided in a L2 domain different from the particular L2 domain. A response that includes the set of available services is generated. The response is sent to the client device.

  • Patent number: 11012164
Abstract: An electronic device has multiple transmitters to transmit multiple signals. The electronic device also has a receiver to receive a signal. Moreover, the electronic device has a memory to store instructions and a processor to execute the instructions. The instructions cause the processor to send a test transmission signal from a transmitter of the multiple of transmitters, receive the test transmission signal at the receiver, and determine a gain of the test transmission signal. In response to determining that the gain is within a threshold range of an initial gain, the instructions cause the processor to send an indication that the receiver is operating as expected.

  • Patent number: 11008915
Abstract: A diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) system and a method of controlling the DEF system are disclosed. The method may include determining that a shutdown condition of the DEF system is satisfied; providing a control signal to open a valve of a buffer tank of the DEF system based on determining that the shutdown condition of the DEF system is satisfied; determining that a level of DEF remaining in the buffer tank satisfies a threshold; and closing the valve of the buffer tank based on the level of DEF remaining in the buffer tank satisfying the threshold.

  • Publication number: 20160273430
Abstract: A reductant filling assembly includes a first end and a second end, the first end adapted to connect from an interior side of a machine to a supply port attached to a receiver extending to an exterior side of the machine; a housing extending between the first end and the second end of the reductant filling assembly, the housing extending from a first housing end to a second housing end; a reductant supply conduit, a first circulating conduit, and a second circulating conduit extending through the housing from the first end to the second end. At least the first circulating conduit is in thermal communication with a wall of the reductant supply conduit, such that a heating fluid flowing through the first circulating conduit in a first direction transfers heat to a reductant fluid in the reductant supply conduit.

  • Patent number: 9267410
Abstract: A cooling system for an injector tip for a diesel emission fluid (DEF) injection system is disclosed. The system uses a heat sink, such as a head for a regeneration system, to vaporize cooling fluid, in combination with a phase separation tank, to force cooling fluid backward through a cooling loop thereby allowing cooling of an injector tip following engine shutdown in a “hot” shutdown situation.

  • Publication number: 20150300228
Abstract: A method for delivering a reductant into a reductant tank through a fill conduit associated with the reductant tank is provided. The reductant tank is in selective fluid communication with an external source having a delivery conduit associated therewith. The method includes connecting the delivery conduit of the external source with the fill conduit of the reductant tank. The method also includes operating a valve provided on the delivery conduit in a first configuration. The method includes changing an operation of the valve from the first configuration to a second configuration. The method also includes purging of a portion of the reductant retained in the fill conduit into the external source through the pump assembly based on the second configuration of the valve.

  • Publication number: 20080295492
Abstract: An injector cleaning system for use with an exhaust treatment device is disclosed. The injector cleaning system may have a supply of injection fluid and an injector configured to receive and inject the injection fluid. The injector cleaning system may also have a pressure sensor associated with the injector to generate a signal indicative of the pressure of the injection fluid supplied to the injector. The injector cleaning system may further have a controller in communication with the injector and the pressure sensor. The controller may be configured to determine a pressure decay rate of injection fluid supplied to the injector during a normal injection event based on the signal. The controller may be further configured to compare the determined pressure decay rate to an expected pressure decay rate, and supply cleaning fluid to the injector based on the comparison.

  • Publication number: 20080034733
Abstract: A method of purging fuel supply components for a combustion chamber of a regeneration assembly is disclosed. A regeneration cycle is performed during which fuel is supplied from a fuel source to the combustion chamber with fuel supply components including a fuel supply circuit and at least one fuel injector unit. At least a first purging cycle is initiated to purge residual fuel from the fuel supply components. During the purging cycle, a flow of purging gas is directed to the at least one fuel injector unit to purge residual fuel from the at least one fuel injector unit. Also during the purging cycle, a flow of purging gas is directed to the fuel supply circuit to purge at least a portion of the fuel in the fuel supply circuit toward the fuel source.
