Abstract: A universal supporting mechanism includes a universal connecting component, a connecting base, and a bottom base. The universal connecting component includes a rotating portion and a connecting portion, the rotating portion is connected with the connecting portion. A cavity is defined in the connecting base, the rotating portion is located in the cavity, an opening is defined on a top of the connecting base, the opening is communicated with the cavity, the connecting portion extends outwards from the opening, the bottom base is connected with the connecting base, a reset component is disposed between the bottom base and the connecting portion. The rotating portion of the universal connecting component is disposed in the connecting base, and a reset mechanism is provided, so that the universal connecting component always has a trend of moving towards the opening.

Abstract: A universal ball joint adjusting mechanism and adjusting method thereof are provided. The universal ball joint adjusting mechanism includes a ball joint, an adjuster, and a brake. The ball joint is arranged inside the adjuster, and the adjuster is movably connected to the ball joint. An end of the brake is arranged in the adjuster, and can move in a first direction to apply pressure to the ball joint or be away from the ball joint. The ball joint has a large volume, and thus the adjuster is more stable during load bearing adjustment. In addition, an outer surface of the ball joint is in surface-to-surface contact with an inner surface of the adjuster.

Abstract: The disclosure discloses a universal supporting mechanism, comprising a lifting platform for fixing lifting equipment and a connecting seat, and further comprising a universal ball head fixedly connected with the lifting platform, with the universal ball head movably connected with the connecting seat via a connector. The disclosure does not need to be adjusted separately by two or more angle adjustment mechanisms, the angle adjustment can be achieved in one step, the structure is simple, and the application range is wide.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method for sending notifications includes accessing a data set, with each data being associated with a first user and including (1) a first action, first state, and first reward that are associated with a first time period, and (2) a second action and second state that are associated with a second time period. The data set may be used to train a recurrent machine-learning model configured to take as inputs a state and action associated with a user and a time period, and predict a cumulative reward over multiple time periods. The cumulative reward may be recurrently defined based on an application of the recurrent machine-learning model to the user's subsequent state and action. The trained model may be used to predict whether sending a notification to a target user is justified based on a predicted cumulative reward.

Abstract: A method is provided in one example embodiment and includes compiling a schema definition file associated with a non-native application into a command file, the non-native application being executable in connection with a network element; creating at least one parse chain for the non-native application; storing the at least one parse chain in a database; and receiving a first command associated with the non-native application from a network administrator. The method further includes parsing the received first command as specified by the at least one parse chain to extract data therefrom; and presenting the extracted data to the non-native application, in which the extracted data is formatted as specified in the associated schema definition file prior to the presenting.
