    Abstract: The present disclosure belongs to the technical field of ophthalmology department and particularly relates to use of a penetrating Schlemm's canalotomy in childhood glaucoma. The present disclosure integrates 360° Schlemm's canalotomy with ab externo trabeculectomy to develop a penetrating Schlemm's canalotomy, thereby improving the postoperative success rate and reducing the adverse effects of transient elevation of intraocular pressure on visual function. This approach provides a better and more stable pressure-reduction for child patients.
