  • Patent number: 11992712
Abstract: An apparatus and an associated method relates to a directionally polarized deceleration module (PDM) include a shuttle (125) fixedly coupled to a spring-biased spool (120) rotatable coupled to a module housing (115), a dynamic braking member (DBM) (130) and the shuttle (125) configured to travel inside a channel anchored to the module housing (115). A tether may be anchored on a proximal end to the spool (120). As the tether is retracted, the DBM (130) may be pushed by an angled distal-end of the shuttle (125). The DBM (130) may be forced between the angled distal-end of the shuttle (125) and an inner channel wall, providing motional resistance to the tether. As the tether is extracted, the DBM (130) may be pushed substantially normal to a proximal-end of the shuttle (125), providing minimal motional resistance to the tether. Various PDMs may decelerate safety lanyards in one direction to substantially avoid tangling and/or damage.

  • Publication number: 20240142829
Abstract: An array substrate includes a first substrate; and a first electrode and a second electrode disposed on the first substrate and located in a sub-pixel region. At least one of the first electrode and the second electrode includes a plurality of electrode strips. Every two adjacent electrode strips in the first electrode and the second electrode have a slit therebetween. The slit includes a first end portion, a straight portion, and a second end portion connected in sequence. A bend is formed at a connection position of the first end portion and the straight portion, and the second end portion is formed by protruding from the straight portion. The straight portion includes a first edge and a second edge parallel to each other, and an average width of the first end portion in a direction perpendicular to the first edge is less than a width of the straight portion.

  • Publication number: 20240115433
Abstract: The present disclosure is related to a nonwoven comprising a first layer free from cellulose-based fibers. The first layer comprises a first surface, an opposite second surface, and a plurality of apertures. The first surface of the first layer comprises a hydrophilic non-aperture area having a first non-aperture area contact angle as measured by a Contact Angle Test. Each of a majority of the plurality of apertures has a side wall having an aperture contact angle as measured by the Contact Angle Test. The aperture contact angle is higher than the first non-aperture area contact angle.

  • Publication number: 20240088571
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an array antenna bandwidth enhancement method based on phase regulation and control, an apparatus and an array antenna, a reflection coefficient of the array is calculated utilizing a one-time-reflection model calculation formula determined based on a small reflection theory, thus saving a full-wave simulation time of a large-scale array, and greatly improving a design efficiency. Enhancement of a bandwidth of the array using the array bandwidth enhancement method based on phase regulation and control may save a time for stepwise increased and matching adjustment of the large-scale array, and reduce design complexity. The provided method is simple and efficient, and is beneficial to realization of a wideband design of the large-scale array antenna.

  • Patent number: 11495707
Abstract: Provided is an AlGaN unipolar carrier solar-blind ultraviolet detector that is based on the AlGaN polarization effect and that uses the double heterojunction of the p-AlzGa1-zN/i-AlyGa1-yN/n-AlxGa1-xN (0.45=<x,z<y) as the main structure of the detector. It makes full use of the polarization built-in electric field pointing from n-type AlGaN to p-type AlGaN to enhance the electric field strength of the i-type absorption region and enhance the efficiency of carrier absorption and separation. At the same time, the valence band step of the p-AlzGa1-zN/i-AlyGa1-yN heterojunction is used to effectively restrict holes from entering the absorption region to recombine with electrons, thereby increasing the carrier lifetime. Furthermore, during device manufacturing the structure is such designed that makes it difficult for photo-generated holes to participate in the photoconductivity so as to realize unipolar conduction of electrons, thereby obtaining a high response speed and high gain current.
