    Abstract: A method for processing an multi-country international phone call, free from an international toll charge, using a voice over IP (VoIP) call from a first mobile handset to a second handset. The method includes transferring destination number information associated with a destination number within a first country code from the first mobile handset to a data network, which is coupled to a world wide network of computers. In a preferred embodiment, the handset is coupled via cellular network through a data network to the world wide network of computers. The method includes transferring caller number information associated with a caller number within a second country code from the first mobile handset to the data network. In a preferred embodiment, the second country code is different from the second country code. The method includes receiving the destination information at a call server process, which is coupled to the world wide network of computers.

    Abstract: A foreign wireless communication system is operated in a local communication network as if the foreign wireless communication system were a local wireless communication system. A data communication link is established between the wireless communication system and a service provider in a local wireless communication network. An outgoing request for authentication information is communicated from the wireless communication system to a remote administration system over the data communication link. The authentication information is received over the data communication link from the administration system and is transmitted over a signal link from the wireless communication system to the service provider. A requested wireless communication service is received at the wireless communication system based on authentication of the wireless communication system by the service provider using the authentication information.

To this end, advertisers are allowed to insert audio, text and video advertising in an active telephone connection, typically at the beginning of a circuit connection, and a statistical method is exploited to accurately identify and target customers with advertisements based on profiles and past calling activities. In addition, a mathematic modeling system provides a guide to a delivery pattern so that advertiser sponsorship benefits the most customers and permits low cost advertisement placement directed to specific customers and telephone systems.
