  • Publication number: 20250049723
Abstract: Provided herein are devices and systems for depositing a material or manufacturing a product, such as a pharmaceutical dosage form, by additive manufacturing. Further provided are methods of using the devices and systems, as well as methods of manufacturing a product, such as a pharmaceutical dosage form, by additive manufacturing. In certain embodiments, the device includes a material supply system configured to melt a pressurized a material, a pressure sensor configured to detect a pressure of the material within the device, and a control switch comprising a sealing needle operable in an open position and closed position. The sealing needle extends through a feed channel containing the material and includes a taper end, wherein the tapered end of the sealing needle engages a tapered inner surface of a nozzle to inhibit flow of the material through the nozzle when the sealing needle is in the closed position.

  • Publication number: 20250042589
Abstract: Disclosed herein are high throughput, efficient, and simplified unloading and packaging systems and methods for large-scale production of pharmaceutical units using additive manufacturing. The disclosed systems and methods may unload, inspect, package, and trace pharmaceutical units, produced by an additive manufacturing system, that are not damaged or deformed. The unloading and packaging system can include one or more unloading and packaging devices. The unloading and packaging device can include a modular configuration having modules. Individual modules to be arranged in any relative order, at any location, and with any number in the unloading and packaging device. The flexibility of the modular configuration allows one or more modules to be removed or added at any given time due to, e.g., expansion, downsizing, module repair, module upgrades, etc. High throughput can be achieved by operating unloading and packaging devices independently and in parallel.

  • Patent number: 11691906
Abstract: The invention is about a stabilized electromagnetic base liquid, as well as its preparation method and its application in the high-salt wastewater treatment. The raw material components of the electromagnetic base fluid include: 20-30 parts of alkali metal hydroxides(e.g., as sodium hydroxide); 20-30 parts of non-alkali metal (e.g., as silicon or phosphorus); 2-6 parts of ammonia; 31-140 parts of water; after treatment with a direct electrical current the parameters of the stabilized electromagnetic base liquid are: pH value: 12 to 14; oxidation reduction potential value: ?1.0 to ?1.8 v; with no corrosivity, confirming the presence of stabilized hydrated electrons (eaq??). With the stabilized electromagnetic base liquid, the storage problem of the electromagnetic base liquid is solved, and the large-scale application in the industrial field can be realized, thereby achieving a large-scale high-salt wastewater treatment process with low cost, high recovery rate.

  • Patent number: 10603636
Abstract: A multistage desalination process for treatment of seawater or salt wastewater. During initially processing the seawater or salt wastewater is treated to precipitate scaling minerals as phosphates including magnesium ammonium phosphate useful as a fertilizer. During the initial phase, ammonium phosphate and sodium phosphate are added to the seawater or salt wastewater followed by an addition of ammonia and a water-based charged solvent. After separating the precipitated solids, the cleaned seawater or salt wastewater is aerated and filtered to produce potable or otherwise usable water.
