    Abstract: The present invention discloses a value-added service for short message service, VAS-SMS, processing method and a VAS-SMS processing center, which include: the VAS-SMS processing center receives an original short message forwarded from the short message service center, generates a value-added service short message associated with the original short message in accordance with data of VAS-SMS subscribed by the calling and called parities of the original short message, submits the value-added service short message to the short message service center, and receives a delivery status report returned from the short message service center, and the value-added service for short message service processing center takes the delivery result of the value-added service short message as that of the associated original short message and sends a delivery result notification of the original short message to the short message service center.
