  • Publication number: 20240098549
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure allow for improving E2E mesh throughput by applying transmission (TX) biasing on the Wi-Fi mesh backhaul. Aspects of the disclosure are directed to solutions for reducing traffic load in Wi-Fi mesh networks by applying TX biasing on the Wi-Fi mesh backhaul. Certain aspects are directed to selectively transmitting or preventing transmission of data over the first backhaul link to the first MLD based at least in part on a fronthaul airtime utilization, a first backhaul airtime utilization, or a second backhaul airtime utilization. Doing so allows a root access point or a network controller to apply TX biasing between multi-link operation links towards each repeater so that traffic load on a backhaul-link would not overly occupy the front-haul link because of common channel use by selectively transmitting or preventing transmission of data on the backhaul links.

  • Publication number: 20240097887
Abstract: An identity authentication method is disclosed in embodiments of the present application. When a requester and an authentication access controller perform identity authentication using an authentication mechanism of a pre-shared key, the identity information of entities is transmitted in the form of ciphertext, thereby preventing the identity information of the entities from being exposed during the transmission, so that attackers cannot obtain private or sensitive information. The mutual or unilateral identity authentication between the authentication access controller and the requester is achieved while ensuring the confidentiality of the entity identity and related information, thereby laying a foundation for ensuring that the user accessing the network is legitimate and/or the network accessed by the user is legitimate.

  • Publication number: 20240089791
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communications systems, a wireless device may buffer uplink communications. However, such approaches may be improved. An access point (AP) may receive, from a station, uplink traffic of a traffic flow for forwarding to a backhaul network via a backhaul link. The AP may monitor a buffer of the AP to determine that a quantity of buffered uplink traffic received from the station exceeds a buffer quota, the buffer quota set for the traffic flow based on a traffic throughput capacity of the backhaul link and a throughput parameter for the traffic flow. The AP may modify, based on the quantity of buffered uplink traffic exceeding the buffer quota, an uplink communication scheme to reduce the quantity of uplink traffic from the station.
