The method includes: obtaining a background image and a target image, the target image containing a target object and a background; removing the background from the target image according to the background image and the target image, to obtain initial foreground data of the target object in the target image; obtaining certain foreground data and uncertain data from the initial foreground data, wherein the uncertain data represents data whose value is between the certain foreground data and background data corresponding to the background; and segmenting the certain foreground data from the uncertain data, to obtain target foreground data of the target object in the target image.

During the process of attaching the mask strips to a substrate, the substrate exerts, on the mask strips, a force towards the mask plate main body, so that the middle portion of each mask strip moves towards the groove, and there is no friction force between the middle portion of the mask strip and the substrate.

    Abstract: Therapies compared in clinical studies can he assessed through the determination of a hazard ratio for long term response between a first a first therapy and a second therapy. Previously, the hazard ratio was determined after a long-term clinical study is conducted to determine the proportion of patients exhibiting a long-term response, such as event free survival or overall survival. Such long-term studies are often cumbersome and expensive. It is has been found that the hazard ratio for long-term response between a first therapy and a second therapy can be determined based on the proportion of patients in a first population of patients receiving the first therapy that exhibit a pathological complete response, the proportion of patients in a second population of patients receiving the second therapy that exhibit the pathological complete response, a patient level effect, and a residual trial level effect.
