Patent number: 12684426Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may use the techniques described herein to reattempt a video telephony (VT) call after receiving a rejection message indicating that a prior attempt at the VT call failed. In some cases, the UE may have a first configuration indicating that the UE is to redial VT calls exclusively using packet-switched (PS) networks. In other cases, the UE may have a second configuration indicating that the UE is to switch to a circuit-switched (CS) network after one or more failed attempts at the VT call using PS networks. In any case, once the UE receives a rejection message in response to a prior attempt at a VT call, the UE may reattempt the VT call based on a rejection cause in the rejection message and whether the UE has the first configuration or the second configuration.Type: GrantFiled: July 2, 2021Date of Patent: July 14, 2026Assignee: Qualcomm IncorporatedInventors: Xinning Shen, Qin Xue Frantti, Osama Lotfallah, Flora Pui San Chan, Xiaomeng Lu

Patent number: 12593285Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for adjusting transmit power headroom for a secondary link while operating in an NSA mode are disclosed herein. An example method for wireless communication at a UE includes receiving a request to enter a multi-connectivity mode in which the UE is able to transmit data to a first base station via a first access link or to a second base station via a second access link. The example method also includes determining a first maximum uplink transmit power for transmissions using the first access link. Additionally, the example method includes determining a second maximum uplink transmit power for transmissions using the first access link based on uplink transmissions transmitted during an evaluation window. The example method also includes transmitting, via the first access link, at least one uplink transmission based on the second maximum uplink transmit power.Type: GrantFiled: March 4, 2021Date of Patent: March 31, 2026Assignee: QUALCOMM IncorporatedInventors: Jianfu Zhang, Bing Leng, Xiaomeng Lu, Jian Li, Hao Zhang

Patent number: 12446112Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for improving emergency calls by a user equipment (UE) in certain scenarios. The techniques generally include receiving a trigger for the UE to perform a circuit switched (CS) emergency call via a first subscriber identity module (SIM) that is serving as a default data subscriber (DDS), attempting the CS emergency call via the first SIM, detecting a failure to perform the CS emergency call via the first SIM, and re-attempting the CS emergency call via a second SIM, in response to the detection.Type: GrantFiled: June 30, 2020Date of Patent: October 14, 2025Assignee: QUALCOMM IncorporatedInventors: Guojing Liu, Dongsheng Wang, Chaofeng Hui, Fojian Zhang, Haibo Liu, Xiaomeng Lu, Xuesong Chen

Patent number: 12439467Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may establish a first wireless connection associated with a first subscription using a first radio access technology, and may establish a second wireless connection associated with a second subscription using a second radio access technology. The UE may perform a call over the second wireless connection, and identify a loss of the first wireless connection based on performing the call over the second wireless connection. The UE may perform a network discovery procedure associated with the first subscription using the first radio access technology based on the loss of the first wireless connection and a termination of the call over the second wireless connection.Type: GrantFiled: May 19, 2020Date of Patent: October 7, 2025Assignee: QUALCOMM IncorporatedInventors: Dongsheng Wang, Chaofeng Hui, Guojing Liu, Xiaomeng Lu, Zongyou Xia, Xuesong Chen

Publication number: 20250121018Abstract: The present invention discloses a sunflower seed composition rich in pleasant prohormone and anti-depression application thereof, and belongs to the field of extraction and application of natural products. Sunflower seeds used in the composition provided by the present invention are rich in tryptophan and have a high tryptophan/neutral amino acid ratio. After defatting treatment and chlorogenic acid removal treatment, and added part can increase a glycemic index. Glucose and vitamins for promoting absorption conversion of tryptophan and ?-3 fatty acids beneficial to nervous activities enable the sunflower seeds to have a better anti-depression effect. The sunflower seed composition of the present invention can improve concentrations of a monoamine neurotransmitter (serotonin) and dopamine in the brain and has a very good effect of ameliorating and treating depression.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 17, 2024Publication date: April 17, 2025Inventors: Jin Sun, Xiaomeng Lu, Xianbao Chen, Ce Qi
