According to methods in the embodiments of the present invention, a network connection condition between the mobile terminal and a server and a current running mode of the mobile terminal in a regular time interval is detected and, according to the detected network connection condition and the running mode of the mobile terminal, it is determined whether to perform an update processing on the internal software installed in the mobile terminal.

Abstract: A method and a framework are revealed for content viewer integrations in content management systems and platforms that allow plug-and-play style content viewer deployment and switching, and simultaneous display of different viewers on the same page. By introducing the notion of viewer integration profiles and viewer bundles, and providing programming interfaces for viewer integrations and content management system integrations, viewer integrations and the deployment of viewers in content management systems are standardized and made easy. Integrating a viewer once, the viewer will work across many ECM products and platforms. With the integration of annotation content conversions, switching of content viewers without the data loss and the risk of potential security breaches (caused by incompatibility between different content viewers) will be enabled.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for compressing webpage text are provided. According to a webpage-opening request of a mobile terminal browser, a current language environment of the terminal is obtained. According to the language environment, a character container corresponding to the language environment is initialized. Requested webpage data are received. The received webpage data are parsed. The webpage data are merged and stored using the corresponding character container. During the initializing of the corresponding character container according to the language environment, it is determined whether the language environment belongs to Latin languages. When the language environment belongs to Latin languages, the character container is initialized to store utf-8 encoded data. Otherwise, the character container is initialized to store utf-16 encoded data.

Abstract: The enterprise electronic mail filtering and notification system is a distributed World Wide Web (Internet) based data processing and transmission system whose purpose is to provide a web and network based method of locating high priority electronic mail messages and alerting the intended recipients of those messages of the existence of the messages. The system includes a web server where a user may register his e-mail address and select criteria for screening e-mails from a mailbox on the user's e-mail server. When important e-mail messages are located, the user will be notified by the most convenient means as determined by the user. This system has the capability to share its user adjustable, flexible and scalable filtering and notification functions with a plurality of networked users and can be offered as a service to off network prospects that have access to the World Wide Web (Internet).
