  • Publication number: 20190386925
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a management method, and a management device and a system that are based on the method. The method includes: sending, by a second management device, an update request to a first management device, where the update request is used to request the first management device to update requirement information of a subnet managed by the first management device; and then, determining, by the first management device, that the subnet can satisfy the update request, or determining that the subnet cannot satisfy the update request. In the solutions in the embodiments of the present disclosure, the second management device can request the first management device to update the requirement information of the subnet managed by the first management device, thereby preventing a management fault of an entire network slice when a subnet managed by the second management device cannot satisfy a preset requirement.

  • Publication number: 20190261241
Abstract: Embodiments provide a network access method and a device. In accordance with the method, a preamble sequence may be received by a second network device from a terminal device on a time-frequency resource occupied by the preamble sequence. A transmit beam may be determined for sending an access response message to the terminal device. The access response message can be sent to the terminal device using the transmit beam. The second access device can send the access response message to the terminal device through beamforming, so that a coverage area of the second access device can be enlarged, directivity of data sent to the terminal device can be improved, and a probability that the terminal device receives the access response message is improved. Therefore, a rate that the terminal device succeeds in accessing the second access device is improved.

  • Publication number: 20190200397
Abstract: Embodiments of the present application relate to the communications field, and provide example random access methods, apparatus, and systems, so that a terminal can access a beam in time. An example solution includes receiving, by a terminal, a plurality of signals sent by a first access device on a plurality of beams. A beam of a strongest signal in the plurality of beams is determined and a preamble signal for the beam of the strongest signal is generated. The preamble signal of the beam of the strongest signal is sent to the first access device, so that the first access device identifies, based on the received preamble signal, the beam selected by the terminal to access.

  • Publication number: 20190191019
Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a protocol layer distribution indication method and apparatus. The method includes: determining, by a CU, a protocol layer distribution manner between the CU and a DU; generating, by the CU, first protocol layer distribution information based on the protocol layer distribution manner; and sending, by the CU, the first protocol layer distribution information to the DU. The CU determines the protocol layer distribution manner between the CU and the DU, further generates the first protocol layer distribution information based on the protocol layer distribution manner, and sends the first protocol layer distribution information to the DU, so that the protocol layer distribution manner can be dynamically determined, and dynamically notified to the DU. The DU may also change a protocol layer distribution in a timely manner based on the received first protocol layer distribution information.
