The method also includes determining one or more motion parameters associated with the subject at least based on one or more sensors carried by the subject. The method further includes determining, based on the first location of the subject and the one or more motion parameters associated with the subject, a second location of the subject at a second time point after the first time point. The method still further includes adjusting, at least based on surroundings information associated with the subject at the second time point, the second location of the subject to determine a target location of the subject.

    Abstract: An intestinal microorganism metagenomic feature is a bacteroid intestinal pattern. By using the intestinal metagenomic pattern, it was found that type 2 diabetic patients with different intestinal parasitic bacterial flora had remarkably different responses to treatment with the diabetic hypoglycemic drug acarbose. Therefore, before treatments, the intestinal patterns of the patients can be assessed to select those patients likely to experience optimal curative effects, and to determine whether acarbose is suitable for the treatment of individual patients with type 2 diabetes. In addition, while intestinal patterns are conventionally distinguished by DNA sequencing or PCT amplification of parasitic bacteria in excrements, the intestinal patterns can be well distinguished using a bile acid composition, especially secondary bile acids, under baseline conditions. The intestinal patterns can be identified through markers in blood, and then be used as markers for diagnosis.

The parts of the device include a sample collector for collecting and applying a liquid sample, a test matrix with reagents for detecting the analyte, a sample application port for receiving the liquid sample, the port being in fluid communication with the test matrix, a storage port for storing the sample collector in contact with the device, a window though which at least a portion of the matrix is visible, and a standards card having one or more color standards for comparison with the test matrix. In one embodiment the analyte detected is alcohol is saliva (ethanol). In use the sample collector is placed in contact with the sample (e.g., in the mouth of the subject) and filled with sample, and the sample is expressed from the collector at the sample application port to begin the assay. The standards cards on the device are used for comparison to identify the concentration of analyte in the sample.
