Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide methods and apparatus for managing load of a network node. A method performed at a first network node may comprise: determining (S101), by the first network node, whether to dispatch a task to another network node; transmitting (S102), by the first network node, to at least one network node including a second network node, a request of dispatching the task; receiving (S103), by the first network node, from the second network node, a response of accepting the task; transmitting (S104), by the first network node, to the second network node, at least one portion of the task; and receiving (S105), by the first network node, from the second network node, a result of executing the at least one portion of the task. According to embodiments herein, a network node may dispatch at least one portion of a task to another network node.
