    Abstract: A method for preparing a monodomain liquid crystal elastomer smart fiber incudes: during cross-linking process of the liquid crystal elastomer, drawing of liquid crystal elastomer fibers with uniform diameter from a polymer solution when the viscosity of the cross-linked polymer solution increases to a point where filaments can be drawn; heating by an infrared lamp to form filamentous liquid crystal elastomer fiber; natural air drying to remove excess solvent in the fiber; and stretching and collection of the fiber, followed by placement of the fiber, whereby the monodomain liquid crystal elastomer smart fiber is obtained.

    Abstract: The invention relates to an energy harvesting and self-cleaning system based on graphene aerogels and its preparation method, which a layer of metal collector is sputtered on both sides of the freeze-dried graphene aerogel by magnetron sputtering; the graphene aerogel with collector is fixed on the side and bottom of the substrate in series and/or parallel connection, and then is put into the electrolyte to get the target system. The system provides a new idea for mechanical energy harvesting. Firstly introduced aerogels into the field of mechanical energy harvesting. In addition, the system can not only collect mechanical energy, but also absorb oil and other impurities in the ocean, playing the role of ocean cleaning. The energy collection system formed by single aerogel can produce ˜220 mV open circuit voltage in Sodium Chloride Solution or organic electrolyte, and generate 2 W/kg power density.

    Abstract: A method for preparing a flexible membrane-free and wire-shaped fuel cell is provided. A carbon nanotube sheet is twisted and loaded with a catalyst to obtain a (CNT)@Fe3[Co(CN)6]2 cathode electrode; the carbon nanotube sheet is twisted and coated with a nickel powder to obtain a CNT@nickel particle anode electrode; and the (CNT)@Fe3[Co(CN)6]2 cathode electrode, the CNT@nickel particle anode electrode, and a fuel electrolyte of H2O2 are integrated in a silicone tube to obtain a flexible membrane-free and wire-shaped fuel cell. The flexible membrane-free and wire-shaped fuel cell of the present invention can generate an open-circuit voltage of 0.88 V, while having very good flexibility, and can be woven into textiles such as clothes, thereby having great application prospects in the field of portable energy supply.
