As shown herein, the aptamers are specific for the LXXLL recognition motif between MED 1 and an estrogen receptor. The present disclosure further concerns pRNA nanoparticles of the RNA aptamers coupled with a further HER2 aptamer that show HER2 specific uptake and subsequent inhibition of cellular proliferation and metastasis in vitro and in vivo.
