    Abstract: A lighting apparatus includes a light source, a detector and a driver. The light source includes a first set of LED modules and a second set of LED modules. The first set of LED modules and the second set of LED modules emit lights with different color temperatures. The detector is used for detecting an operation pattern corresponding to one of a plurality of operation modes. The operation pattern is transmitted from an operation on a wall switch electrically connected to the lighting apparatus. The driver generates a first current to the first set of LED modules and a second current to the second set of LED modules based on the operation mode associated with the detected operation pattern. The operation mode corresponding to both a corresponding luminance level and a corresponding color temperature at the same time.

    Abstract: A handle assembly and a stapler including the same are provided. The handle assembly includes: an indicator; a first handle and a second handle; a slot and a slider, provided in the first handle, the slider can be actuated by the indicator to move from a first section to a second section of the slot; when the slider in in the first section, the second handle cannot be actuated by the first handle and is in an insurance position; when the slider is in the second section of the slider, and the second handle can be actuated by the first handle to move towards a firing position. Therefore, no matter whether the stapler is ready to be fired or not, the first handle can be pressed by the doctor. However, when the stapler is not ready to be fired, the second handle won't be actuated to fire the stapler.

    Abstract: A method for determining the diffusion radius of in-situ injection and remediation of contaminated soil and groundwater. According to the triangle method, the hole spacing is perpendicular to the groundwater flow direction, the row spacing is along the groundwater flow direction, and the flow diffusion in the groundwater during the effective time of the remediation agent reaction is considered. Under high pressure rotary injection, the remediation agent and a certain proportion of bromide ions are simultaneously injected into the aquifer as a tracer. The diffusion of the agent is determined by observing the phenomenon of slurry-returning and slurry-channeling of adjacent injection points. After the completion of the injection, the groundwater is quickly sampled in fixed depth, the tracer concentration is quickly detected on site, and the concentration of bromide ions in the groundwater is compared with the background value. Comprehensive determination determines the optimal diffusion radius.

    Abstract: A method for detecting structural surface cracks based on image features, support vector machines and Bayesian data fusion, including: 1) acquisition of a video of a structural surface and establishment of an image library; 2) calculation of texture features of the image frames by local binary patterns; 3) scanning and grouping for image patches of cracks on the image frames using two-stage support vector machine; 4) Bayesian data fusion and decision. The video image detection acquires images of many areas where human beings are difficult to reach; computers are adopted to identify cracks on surfaces of the structural elements, which can greatly reduce the identification workload and labor cost, and increase the crack detection rate. The invention has a better adaptability to the light strength on the structural surface, thus providing better identification for cracks.

    Abstract: An in-situ chemical oxidation high pressure injection optimization remediation method for soil and groundwater. A field test determines the diffusion radius of the injection agent in a typical formation, the maximum single-hole grouting amount per linear meter and the injectability parameter. Density-increased supplementary investigation, soil and groundwater data analysis, is divided by spatial distribution into four concentration main partitions, eight concentration sub-partitions. By optimizing the single-hole grouting amount per linear meter, the preparation concentration of the oxidant, and the parameters of the formulation of each partition, the optimization of the dosing ratio of remediation agent of each partition is achieved. The specific construction performance is to adjust the lifting speed of the high pressure injection drill pipe during the injection process for finally achieve the purpose of reducing the dosing ratio parameters of the agent in the remediation plot.
