  • Patent number: 11914179
Abstract: This disclosure discloses a radiative cooling optical filter, comprising a substrate. One side of the substrate is polished, and the rough side of the substrate is provided with a metal reflective layer. The polished side of the substrate is subsequently provided with the intermediate layers and a top layer. The intermediate layer comprises alternatingly arranged layers A and layers B. The thickness of each layer A and layer B is 50-400 nm. The material of the layer A is silicon dioxide or aluminum oxide, and the material of the layer B is titanium dioxide, silicon nitride or silicon carbide. The material of the top layer is ytterbium fluoride, yttrium fluoride or zinc sulfide. The intermediate layer and the top layer jointly constitute a multi-resonant absorption enhancer in the atmospheric transparent window.

  • Publication number: 20190223611
Abstract: The invention is a sleeping or resting device—such as a mattress—which plays music and vibrates. The invention contains multiple vibration units that provide vibrations for a user reclining on top, as well as speakers that provide audio. The vibration units can be controlled through an external device—such as a smartphone—to change its frequency and intensity. The speakers are also able to be controlled through the same external device to change its volume as well as control what is being played. The vibration units and speakers are controlled in groups, in which the vibration is based off the audio of the speakers in that group. Groups are controlled separately. The combination of vibration and audio would aid an individual using the invention to relax and to improve their sleep experience, including bringing the individual to a sleeping state more quickly.

  • Patent number: 10210878
Abstract: Disclosed are a method and a system for matching an electroencephalogram and music files which compares the scaling index ? of an electroencephalogram with the long-range correlation index ?, and matches music file with the electroencephalogram if the scaling index and the long-range correlation index close to equal so as to find a music file matched with a measured electroencephalogram automatically. The method and system in accordance with the present invention may automatically find music files matching with human brain statements in real time by measuring an electroencephalogram, and then guide people relieve stress and relax effectively.

  • Patent number: 7593529
Abstract: A conditional access scrambling or encryption technique for a packetized digital data stream, e.g., a MPEG-2 bitstream, (1) by scrambling or encrypting the data payload of selective transport payload packets (e.g., every nth packet); (2) by scrambling or encrypting only a portion (e.g., a central portion) of the data payload of every transport payload packets; or (3) by both scrambling or encrypting the data payload of every nth packet and scrambling or encrypting only a portion of the data payload of every transport payload packet. With advance knowledge by the subscriber's descrambler of which payload packets are being scrambled, and/or of which portion of which payload packets, descrambling can be performed with minimal processing and without the need to first recreate the underlying image and/or audio.

  • Patent number: 5225670
Abstract: High quantum efficiency (.gtoreq.5%) ultrafast (.ltoreq.100 picosecond) and broad band (30 KeV to 80 KeV for medical application) X-ray photo-electron cathode, high gain X-ray real time image intensifier and portable low intensity real time projection type X-ray imagescope use new vacuum photo-electron devices. A new type X-ray photo-electron cathode has a specially designed alkali halide electron emission layer that makes possible high quantum efficiency, high speed and broad band X-ray photon detection. An X-ray photo-electron cathode followed by a direct coupled micro channel plate and an output phosphor display screen form a new type panel shaped direct view X-ray intensifier tube which can have both high spatial resolution (.gtoreq.10 lp/mm) and high gain (.gtoreq.10.sup.4). The thickness of this panel shaped disc X-ray intensifier can be less than 1 cm.
