Abstract: A process method is used for producing ethanol fuel by using Elaeagnus angustifolia L. as a raw material. The method includes pretreatment and pulping of Elaeagnus angustifolia L., solid-liquid separation or liquefaction treatment, fermentation, and distillation and dehydration of ethanol. The present invention produces ethanol by fermentation with Elaeagnus angustifolia L. as a raw material, the process method is simple, and the sugar-alcohol conversion efficiency is basically the same as when fermented with corn and other starches as raw materials, so that a new non-grain biological resource-Elaeagnus angustifolia L. is used to produce liquid bioenergy without consuming food resources, which broadens the types of raw materials for production of ethanol fuel.
