Abstract: Embodiments of this invention relate to a composition comprising of (A) an anhydride and/or carboxylic acid functionalized, chlorinated olefin-based polymer and/or (b) a styrene-based polymer and/or a functionalized styrene-based polymer, (B) a polyamide wax slurry, and (C) organic solvent, and which composition can be used as an adhesive to bond a fabric to a polyolefin elastomer (POE) thermoplastic sheet, articles made from the composition, and methods of producing the composition and articles.

The method comprises applying to the fabric: (a) from 10 to 90 wt % of an aqueous dispersion of a thermoplastic polymer; and (b) from 90 to 10 wt % of an aqueous dispersion of a rosin, wherein percentages are based on total dry weight of thermoplastic polymer and rosin.

The compositions comprise polyurethane microparticles coated with zinc salt particles, wherein the ratio of zinc salt to polyurethane is in a range of from 1:99 to 3:7, and the polyurethane microparticles have an average particle size of less than 100 microns. Abstract: The present invention relates to compositions, methods and materials for delivering a cyclopropene or other active ingredient to a plant. Provided are compositions comprising double encapsulated particles having a waxy coating and being imbedded in a resin matrix. Such double encapsulated particles are further coated with Pickering particles and suspended in an oil. The double encapsulated particles comprise a volatile compound (for example, 1-MCP complex powder) as an active ingredient. Also provided are methods for preparing such compositions and methods for using such compositions.

Abstract: The invention provides a hair treatment composition comprising one or more alkaloids derivable from plants of the Sophora genus (Sophora alkaloids), characterised in that at least 95% by weight of the total Sophora alkaloids present in the composition are tetracyclic quinolizidine alkaloids of the general structural formula (I): in which X is O or a lone pair. The invention also provides the use of the above composition for the treatment of the hair fibre, especially hair fibres which are damaged.
