  • Publication number: 20230272580
Abstract: An oxygen bleaching method of pulp includes the steps of: adding a solution formulated by a magnesium salt and an activator to an unbleached chemical pulp, stirring to be mixed well, and bleaching by introducing oxygen. The activators are nano zero-valent metals that are conventional, low-cost, and recyclable. These activators can activate low-concentration oxygen at low-temperature in neutral aqueous solution to efficiently generate peroxide anion radicals, so as to promote the generation of hydroperoxide anions and peroxide ions, achieving high efficient delignification. The whole process does not generate waste water, the oxygen consumption is only 50-85% of the original process, the yield is increased by 1.5-2.8% compared with the original system, the pulp brightness is increased to 28-32° SR, and the magnesium salt can be recycled and reused.

  • Publication number: 20230022063
Abstract: Methods and apparatus automatically identify which Internet-of-Things (IoT) devices within a set are behaving in a manner non-compliant with a target behavior. Each IoT device is assigned to a grid point in a notional m-dimensional space. A respective assessment module is arranged to monitor behavior of a group of IoT devices assigned to grid points aligned with one another at a respective position along the respective dimension, and to produce an output indicative of non-compliant behavior if the monitoring indicates that behavior in the group of IoT devices deviates from a behavioral model of the IoT devices of said group. An identification module identifies at least one non-compliant IoT device in the set of IoT devices by combining outputs from the assessment modules assigned to the different dimensions of the space. The assessment modules may use trained machine-learning algorithms embodying a model of normal behavior of the group of devices.

  • Patent number: 11523316
Abstract: Distribution of traffic to cells in a communication network can be controlled. A distribution management component (DMC) can determine overall device traffic throughput for cells of a sector that satisfy a defined traffic throughput criterion relating to a harmonic mean of the device traffic throughput for the cells to desirably enhance or maximize the harmonic mean of the overall device traffic throughput. Based on the overall device traffic throughput for the cells, the DMC can determine whether to adjust a characteristic associated with a cell of the cells to facilitate adjusting distribution of device traffic among the cells of the sector to achieve desirable load balancing of traffic by the sector and in the network. Load balancing can be achieved by controlling respective parameters with regard to communication devices that are in idle mode or connected mode to facilitate directing communication devices and associated traffic to desired cells.

  • Publication number: 20220356517
Abstract: The invention discloses a method for identifying the bacterial species and key functional genes thereof involved in antimony reduction in the soil. After consuming the original substrate by starvation culture, the sole metabolic substrate is added and the sole electron acceptor Sb(V) is provided, so that there is only one dominant electron exchange process in the system. The microorganisms metabolize and oxidize the organic substrate while coupling with the reduction of antimony, so that Sb(V) gets electrons and is reduced to Sb(III). The present invention observes the Sb(V) reduction in an anaerobic culture system of paddy soil under Sb(V) stress, and uses DNA-SIP technology to identify the phylogenic information of microorganisms that can drive the Sb(V) reduction in the culture system.
