  • Patent number: 10264398
Abstract: Optimized delivery of locally applicable Internet content to users. A cache of locally applicable Internet content is maintained in a local content server, based upon a monitoring of locations of users requesting Internet content. Requests for Internet content are received from user equipment through a wireless network base station, and served from the local content server, which is logically proximate to the wireless network base station. The caching of locally applicable Internet content may be maintained on a layered basis. Secure action request receipt and corresponding performance, and item condition alerts are also described.

  • Patent number: 9589531
Abstract: Video signals for a mobile terminal are converted to accommodate reproduction by an alternative display terminal. The video signal is processed to provide a converted video signal appropriate for an alternative display terminal that is separate from the mobile terminal. This converted video signal is then provided for the alternative display terminal to accommodate the corresponding video display on a screen provided by the alternative (e.g., external) display terminal.

  • Publication number: 20150168573
Abstract: Provided is a method for performing layer Q factor inversion by using an amplitude spectrum attribute of a down going wave of vertical seismic profile data in a geophysical exploration data processing technology. In the method, first an F-K (frequency-wave number) method is used to perform wave field separation on VSP original data, so as to obtain a down going wave; a down going wavelet and a monitoring wavelet are selected to undergone Fourier transform to obtain an amplitude spectrum, polynomial fitting is performed on the amplitude spectrum to obtain an equivalent Q, and a formula between the equivalent Q and a layer Q is used to perform inversion, so as to obtain the layer Q. The method has a strong capability of resisting random disturbance, and is capable of removing a difference of triggering wavelet. The algorithm is simple and can greatly save workload; moreover, the layer Q value obtained through inversion has a desirable stability and high precision.

  • Patent number: RE46140
Abstract: The invention presents a method and system for processing the purchase of products, goods and/or services, more particularly, to a method and system for processing the purchase by a buyer of products from one or more sellers of products in an on-line real-time e-Commerce business environment where the merchant server from which the goods are purchased lacks adequate encryption security for the purchasing of the goods by credit card. The method and system also allows for the easy up-dating registration by a merchant of the items available for purchase as maintained on the Web, DB server. The invention also discloses a method and system for avoiding the hindrance of foreign exchange rates fluctuations on the payment of on-line real-time e-Commerce trading.
