    Abstract: A cable management apparatus includes two mounting brackets, a cable management arm connected between the two mounting brackets and slidable vertically, and two elevating mechanisms. Each of the elevating mechanisms includes opposite sides respectively rotatably connected to one of the mounting brackets and abutting a bottom of the cable management arm. When the elevating mechanisms are rotated relative to the mounting brackets, the elevating mechanisms drive the cable management arm to slide vertically. The cable management arm defines a number of positioning holes. Each of the elevating mechanisms includes a locating pin to be operable to engage in one of the corresponding positioning holes to prevent the rotation of the elevating mechanisms.

The guiding plate is rotatable relative to the bottom plate of the shell. The torsion spring includes a first torsion arm, a second torsion arm, and a coil portion. The first torsion arm and the second torsion arm are urged against the bottom plate and the guiding plate respectively by torque force applied from the coil portion. Thereby, the guiding plate is driven to a position adjacent and generally parallel to one of the side walls to obstruct the corresponding vent by the second torsion arm.

The locking mechanism includes a supporting bracket fixed to the device, and a locking member mounted to the supporting bracket and slidable between a locking position and an unlocking position. The supporting bracket defines a retaining hole. The locking member includes a protrusion and a block. When the locking member slides to the locking position, the block abuts against the connector. The protrusion is engaged in the retaining hole to keep the locking member at the locking position. When the locking member slides to the unlocking position, the block is spaced from the connector to provide an operation space for removing the connector from the device.
